I was relieved to see that Sakshi managed to remove her OTT ornaments and makeup, it was a bit much for the party and of course a lot for the hospital to visit your son who has just attempted suicide.

She totally railed on Durga, which was expected, and her family didn't even bother stopping her. Suchitra looked like she agreed with her, silly cow. But I LOVED how Dr. Thakur stepped up and defended his only daughter to the great Sakshi Goenka. It wasn't too long ago that the same man helped save her nephew's life. Sakshi couldn't even hide her true feelings behind the typical sarcasm, she just stood there and let it all out. Of course, she could share a little of the blame. She could have cancelled the project so that Shaurya would not have an excuse to be jealous of Dev. She could have declined the invitation on their family's behalf. She could have forgotten about the CBI so that her son didn't feel desperate enough to fake his own attempted death. As usual, Sakshi blamed her favorite person but she got told off royally by Dr. Thakur and I was proud of him.

Durga's silence here was golden to the extreme. She didn't say a word in her own defense, but her innocent expressions and her eye contact with Sakshi were priceless. It was like saying, I know it's not my fault and I don't feel guilty which is why I don't have to look at the ground or avoid your angry glare. I also loved how Dr. Thakur tries to pull her away with the excuse that Neil is waiting for them. Poor Neil, his engagement ruined by the Goenka heir.

The *hug* inside the hospital room was just too much! Ayub outdid himself in this little scene where he really looks like a father feeling bad for his son. He made the most of his lines and expressions here. I couldn't believe Sakshi fell for it, but when your only son is fighting for his life apparently all suspicions fly out the window. Her obsession with Durga is really making things easy for this couple.

And Shaurya's lines were hilarious.

Karan is finally getting a brain and realizing that things arent going awry because of Dev, but because of Durga. Wonder where that is going to lead.

Durga's confession of love in the precap was smart. If she marries Shaurya, she can keep an eye on the entire family without his mother being able to touch a hair on her head.

Dev still hasn't confirmed in his mind whatever Shaurya did. As far as he is concerned, Shaurya is still family. Just like his parents and sister. Dev would be concerned because it isn't in him to suspect much of anything, I feel he thinks Shaurya wouldn't go to this level for a girl. This level of drama I mean.

Sakshi is ALWAYS insulting Durga, whether it's sarcastically with her praise or openly with a moral bhashan. She doesn't like Durga's influence over her son, and knows her instincts are on the money.

Shakshi deserves the prize of "Blind Mother of the Century" for her performance in believing that her son is ever capable of taking his own life.

Her screaming at Durga proves that she will blame every other person but herself in creating this monster of a son.

Durga quietly listening to her was driving Shakshi even more nutty.

I was glad that Durga got the truth from the ward boy about Shaurya's Nautanki.

I hope it doubles her efforts to get this slimy character and give him the punishment he deserves.

Rajnath also having a soft spot for his "Nikamma" son was nice to see but I hope he wakes up soon from his weakness and realizes that no matter how much he loves his son that is not going to change Shaurya.

Both Shakshi and Rajnath need to come up with some much needed "Tough Love".

Agreed. The CBI cars outside the house was their attempt at tough love, but it failed. It only drove him to more desperate measures to fool his family and Durga into thinking he was over her when he wasn't.

Sakshi's no jewellery look was a relief.

She is mad if she believes Shaurya can indeed harm himself.

I liked Dayal defending Durga but it always shows how Durga is nothing without him. Even Sakshi is nothing without Goenka tag but she atleast marches on her own.

I didn't like her trying to look innocent. It obviously looks fake.

Sakshi is so blind that she didn't get bothered by RajMa hug.

She threatens so openly yet Dev and Suchitra don't consider her evil.

Raj, Raima and Shaurya have been fooling her for years so they don't bother.

Marriage plan disgusts me. I don't agree with that as only way to take revenge.

I am starting to feel that Shakshi has an inkling about Rajnath but chooses to ignore it for now because she really does not want to let go of her status as a Goenka wife.

For her to acknowledge that Rajnath has strayed with Raima then she will loose her power and pride of being the Goenka wife because she believes that Rajnath will leave her for Raima.

I wonder if she keeps Raima this close just for that reason. Maybe she does not care about their affair as long as she gets what she really craves and that is Goenka's name and power.

I am only guessing because Shakshi is not a fool about anybody except her son and she does not look like she really loves Rajnath.

Sakshi's look was tacky even at the party, but it's worse considering what happened to her son. Like a wannabe movie star. Technically, he did harm himself and if he hadn't gotten to a hospital in time would have put himself at risk for major blood loss and other things. I am no doctor, but I know that much. But he did take every precaution considering all that.

I agree, Durga is nothing without him. But the girl lost her parents and her sister is completely disabled. It may not be fair to compare her to Sakshi whose family is still intact and is much older than her.

I don't think she could do anything but look innocent. I mean, looking guilty would be like saying yes I drove your son to suicide. Or looking defiant would have done the same thing. She let Sakshi say whatever she wanted, I think the other Goenkas didn't agree with her either. The one thing that was good about Sakshi is her saying to hell with the project I am just going to say what's on my mind for the sake of my son. Even if Durga threw the party to trap Shaurya, why on earth did Sakshi have to play along? She keeps insisting something goes wrong whenever Durga is there so she could have stayed away and wished her over the phone. She is as much to blame as Durga.

I agree marriage is not the only way to take revenge. But I feel perhaps she can get closer to their secrets than Akash this way. She may discover the killer of Arnab and other proof she needs to put Shaurya away.

Sakshi threatened Durga in a public place, she will one day regret her words. She doesn't realize the unfinished business Durga has with both her and her son.

You could be right. Sakshi has more to lose by leaving Rajnath than she does by allowing the affair to continue. But I do think she had no inkling of it when she showed up at the court and scared Maheshwari.
