When i say loyal fans, i don't mean those sitting on their pc fighting over BO figure.

i mean the people who go to theater halls to watch movies n make them hit.

we watched movies like D3, CE etc etc, and make them hit.

D3 is number one movie in India today, but it's total crap as movie.

i couldn't sit though it for 20 min, there was no way in hell,and i still don't get how it earned so much.

CE is not any better, but i gotta admit i watched (mostly for SRK) but enjoyed it as a individual.if u ask me what kind of movie it's?

i would say crap,it had nothing, it was mindless movie but entertaining at least for me.

no actor from the new i can make me watch a CE..ok maybe Ranveer can..

i watched Gunday for him,and i still don't know what that movie was about

my point is will the new lot have their share of loyal of audience?

will you watch D3 for Ranbir? or CE for Ranveer? Dabang for Varun/Sid.

please share your thoughts.

Loyal fanbase does not come after just 2-3 films. It takes time to build a fanbase/credibility such that only your name is enough to make people take interest in your movie or want to watch it.
Who knows maybe a few years later these young stars would be able to build at least credibility, if not a loyal fanbase, and draw crowds at the ticket window on their own.

Yes they will have their share of loyal fans

But they would never reach Khan's status. NEVER. Khan's are phenomena that came unexpectedly and reached wherever they are today without heavy load of pressures on them at the start of their career. Whereas all the new stars from Hrithik, Ranbir, Ranveer, VArun, Arjun etc... have been touted as next huge thing from their debuts. So that's the difference. Also Khan's delivered ATBB films in their first 2 - 6 years despite having tough comp from yesteryears stars such as Big B, Anil K, Sunny D, Govinda, Mithun, Sanjay D and Jackie S. Where as new lot will struggle with as Khans are still dominating and unbeatable.

Also those Dabangg/CE/D3 type films are accepted by majority of cinema fans. So cant thrash them. But again such films needs specific charm to carry it off

Khans are the last icons. And I am not the only person saying this but I know many people who say the same thing.

And I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but All three of them are KHANS. They all are at same age and they all are ruling, when I think about it, it just surprise me. But coming back to your topic, they are the last icons we are seeing. They enjoy huge fan following. I don't think anyone ruled for as long as they are. They are just something else, whether you love them or hate them but simply can't ignore them.

And who knows if any of these new stars will survive, it's too early to say if varun Arjun ranveer ect will survive, forget ruling. They just did 4 movies together. They might survive or they might not, maybe someone else will come, no one knows!

Salman Khan first movie was ATBB and was decade biggest hit. Shahrukh Khan give an ATBB just after two or three years of debut. Aamir Khan first movie was a BB too. The standards set by them are too high and it's not easy to match with them. There is a reason why public is insane about them. I don't think any star will ever enjoy this craze. Just my opinion

After Khans. Show will go on. New set of records will be made. Historic openers and mega blockbusters will be made. Superstars will rise. But having a long run will depend. In Bollywood you need more than just acting talent. You need to connect with the audience. If you notice why Salman & SRK has huge fan base? They have difference set of aura. They connect with their fans. Aamir on other hand has had long on strong scripts that have been relatable too aam admi which has kept him going. So for new lots they must connect with the audiences then just going for hits and acclaims

Hrithik & Ranbir have close off but still very far from stardom like the khans

Lol Hrithik is a bigger star then Ranbir. No comparison.

More like Ranbir and Ranveer.
