Last moments together- Suraiyya & Osman

There are people who come, conquer and walk away with victory and Beintehaa cast is filled with such people only who came and conquered our hearts.

Two such people are NavedAslam & SuchitraPillai who left me awestruck today. There has never been such a beautiful veteran couple like Osman & Suraiyya. Indian television is known for love & romance but never have witnessed love of a couple who are in evening of their lives. A couple who started their journey together, saw success & failure together, saw birth of their kids, saw them growing up and aged together. But even in later years of their life, they have life of them outside responsibilities of parents & grandparents. A life of two people where moments of their life are just for them and Suchi mam, Naved Sir portrayed this phase of relationship with so much conviction and beauty.

How beautiful & heart breaking today's episode was. A battered woman who had just come out facing some horrifying hours of her entire life was made to witness the truth of deteriorating condition of her husband and these moments could be last of her with her husband. A scared wife wanted to go and be with her husband but how? One sight of her could take the remaining moments from him. Just to shield her husband from mortifying site of her she covered up her external bruises giving several bruises on her inner form, inner soul.

The moment between the two people was beautiful, so touching. The usually strong Suraiyya was broken today. Her life was slipping out of her hands and she was powerless to clench it tight yet she put up a face for her husband. An attempt to remind him about all the moments with him, his presence in life of his family and his winner attitude with belief that he'll emerge out winner from this situation too. He'll defeat demons of death and will return to his family, to his wife with a promise never to leave. She rested her head on his heart to feel him close for her it could be the last time she's getting the opportunity too.

It was truly touching to see these last moments of Surraiya and Osman.

These are the type of moments where we get a glimpse of the good side to Surraiya.

And you are absolutely right, this is honestly my first time on indian television where I have seen such a beautiful portrayal of the love between a husband and wife of that age.

Hats off to the actors and the makers of Beintehaa.
