Who wore it better?

We spotted our fav style chameleon Sonam Kapoor in a monochrome printed Toni Maticevski full-skirted dress which was also sported by Australian model and television presenter Jennifer Hawkins. Miss Kapoor lit up the whimsical outfit with her dazzling smile but the earpiece looked a tad off and so was her choice of footwear. We much prefer the edgy open-toe booties on Jennifer which complemented the outfit better.

New Delhi: Fawad Afzal Khan who is ready to roar with his Bollywood debut 'Khoobsurat' has been gaining many eyeballs for his robust looks and charming persona.

This Pakistani actor will be seen grooving with Indian beauty Ileana D'Cruz in an advertisement. Yes, this is the same advertisement in which Virat Kohli was seen tapping his feat to the beats of Baar baar dekho'.

Fawad has replaced Virat in a new advertisement of a shampoo brand. The advertisement always created buzz as earlier alleged couple Anushka and Virat were seen together. Later Ileana replaced Anushka and now Virat is replaced by Fawad.

Fawad is already popular nationwide especially among women and this advertisement is surely an eye treat for his fans.

The actor is looking dapper in the advertisement and seeing him dancing will surely make his fans go ga-ga over him.

With looks that can kill, Fawad Khan is the centre of attraction in Bollywood, especially due to his uncanny resemblance to the most desirable Indian cricketer:, Virat Kohli.This may be the biggest reason why Virat was replaced by Fawad.

The heartthrob of Pakistan is making his Bollwyood debut with Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor, which is scheduled to release on September 19.

He plays the role of a young Rajput prince in the remake of the 1980 Hrishikesh Mukherjee's film of the same name.

Khoobsurat also stars Kirron Kher, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ratna Pathak and Aamir Raza Hussain in pivotal roles.

Mumbai, July 30: For Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, working in Indian filmdom is like an "educative experience" as the country has mastered the craft. The heartthrob of Pakistan is making his Bollywood debut with "Khoobsurat" opposite Sonam Kapoor.

"The amount of experience that India has in film making, for me it is an education to understand how systems work because we are re-propping our industry and it would be a valuable contribution," said the actor, who featured in internationally acclaimed Pakistani movie "Khuda Kay Liye".

"...they have mastered the craft to the extent that they have won over a global audience."

"I am actually able to take back certain form of education. For me, it is more importantly an educative experience when it comes to filmmaking and I would like to incorporate that in some way or the other back at home as well," he said in an interview.

"Khoobsurat" has been produced by Sonam's sister Rhea Kapoor and directed by Shashanka Ghosh.

The fate of the film, which also stars Kirron Kher and Ratna Pathak Shah, will be known when it hits theaters Sep 19, but Fawad has already won a fan following thanks to his TV show "Zindagi Gulzar Hai".

Mumbai: He might be turning heads in Bollywood, but Fawad Afzal Khan is no stranger to stardom thanks to his hit TV series and his music band in Pakistan.

Whether it is his good looks or his acting, Fawad has already gotten himself many fans across the country.

His debut film brought him to India for the first time and he's "enjoying the experience". About working with Sonam in Khoobsurat, Fawad says, "Sonam comes from a family that has been in the industry for ages and with the kind of work she does, I was initially a little intimidated. But she has absolutely no airs about herself. Working with her was just fun."

In Pakistan, Fawad is a huge star and is famous for his hit television series Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hain. He, however, is taking a break from television. "It's been close to a year since I've taken a break from TV. I want to revisit cinema and if things go as planned, I will be working on more projects in India," he says.

With Khoobsurat being a remake of the hit '80s movie that starred Rekha and Rakesh Roshan, does he feel any pressure? "There is no pressure as such. In fact my role isn't the same, I play a Rajput prince," he reveals.

One of the challenges that Fawad faced was the language. "It wasn't difficult, though it took some time to get used to Hindi."

Since starting the film, he has hardly had any time to visit home. He says, "My wife has been visiting me. Once the promotions are wrapped up and the movie releases, I'll head back home for a vacation."

Even before the release of his debut film, there are rumours of projects with top actresses like Kareena Kapoor, but Fawad is tight-lipped. "Nothing has been finalised. I'm still in talks so there is nothing to reveal here," he says.

Fawad Khan feels embarrassed when he meets crazy fans

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has efficiently used the wide popularity of his hit television show Zindagi Gulzar Hai to find a foothold in Bollywood. Fawad is all set to play a stiff upper lip prince in his Bollywood debut film Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor. The Lahore-based actor is in India these days to promote the film.

Penetrating into a mammoth industry from a different land is not easy, but, his small screen outing made him a well known face. "Honestly, I blush like a little boy. It's flattering to have a crazy fan experience but it's extremely embarrassing at the same time. It came as a surprise when I experienced similar fanatical fan moments in India, which was a common thing back in Pakistan," says Fawad Khan, who ensures that his wife Sadaf remains by his side as a "perfect antidote".

Getting a break in Khoobsurat was a result of his work in hit Pakistani shows and a few films. Fawad's stint with the big screen began with Shoaib Mansoor's Khuda Kay Liye, a film that spoke about religion and terrorism.

"It was important for me to come out of my comfort zone. For any artist coming from a different country, finding a place in a new industry can be tough. It's an educational experience to work in an industry that has mastered the art of creating an entertainment package," says Fawad. "My expectations are real and after working in Khoobsurat, I will go back enriched with a different experience," he adds.

Pakistani films may not be enjoying a wider reach, but Fawad feels that the films have managed to create "a distinct flavour". "The budgets are limited but we still manage to come up with some unique films with our limited tools," adds Fawad. Khoobsurat is scheduled to be released in September.
