There are two filmmakers that Kareena Kapoor Khan considers to be her favourite - Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty. Kareena has done six films for Karan Johar's company Dharma Productions while Singham Returns is the third film that Kareena is doing under the direction of Rohit Shetty. She claims to be close to both.
She says, "I have known Rohit since he was an assistant on Karisma (Kapoor) and Ajay's film. I used to be present on the set with Karisma during the shooting. Finally, when Rohit and I worked together Ajay was the hero of the film. So my friendship with Rohit goes way back. For me, he's like family. We talk about a lot of things."
Everyone in the industry knows that Kareena shares a similar familial bond with Karan Johar as well. Nodding in agreement she adds, "Yeah, but with Karan it's way beyond work. Rohit is very work-oriented. Rohit doesn't like to party, he doesn't like to go out. He goes to sleep after work. That's Rohit. Karan is totally the opposite. Karan loves to party. He is there at every party."
May we add Karan also loves to gossip which makes her bond even more with him. Kareena protests, "Nooo...That is the side that media likes to project. There's also a beautiful side to Karan. There is a side to Karan that very few know. He is someone who is there for you. Karan and I share a very deep bond."
