Thanks for the post Diya. The episode was very quick. I wish we had more scenes of Paro pregnant and then Parud scenes with the baby. It's devastating that Rudra has to lose his love after becoming a father. He gained back the affection of his parents, he found true love and he was living a blissful life as a new father. It's sad that Paro is never going to see her son grow up, hear his first words, see him take his first steps and grow to be a strong man like his father. It was endearing to see Paro hold her baby with such love. It was heartbreaking to see hide her baby and give away her protection (rudrakasha mala) such that her baby is safe and sound. The baby's only memory may be the song that Paro sang to him.

Thanks, Sidda ... I too wish we had gotten more family scenes, more happy moments ... to cherish and remember ... I feel bad for Rudra, and even worse for poor little Dhruv ... he will grow up with a loving mother in Maithili, but he will never feel the love of his own mother again.

As for Paro, my heart still weeps for her ... all she wanted was only this ... her own home, her own little family ... she got her happiness, but for so little time. She will never see her son grow up, hear his first words, see him take his first steps, hear him call her 'maasa' ... what must have gone through her mind those last few minutes as she lay dying, waiting desperately for Rudra? 😭

After seeing the SBS, my feeling is the makers , and maybe the channel, want us to forget PaRud as soon as possible ... hence they skated over the happy moments. I really wish that in that case, they had kept Sanaya's new name Gauri, or some other name of Parvati ... after selling Rangrasiya to us as an almost divine story, a story of soulmates, Shiv Parvati kind of love, this abrupt turnaround is really unacceptable. Am annoyed with the channel for this extreme pressure ... but will keep watching the show for the leads and the rest of the cast, who have given us some beautiful moments ... in the hope that the cvs rectify their mistakes this time around, and give us an equally memorable couple to love.

I thought I had quite a bit to write after yesterday's episode but now all I want to do is just feel the emotions after reading so many awesome posts in this thread. Thank you for making and keeping this thread alive even during such dark episodes. I meant to update my post yesterday but due to unavoidable circumstances could not login into IF.

The first half was such bliss to see. The "tum tak" sequence brought a smile to my face. The Ranawat family pampering Paro, the love between Parud, Paro reaching out to Mythali when Shatabdi announced her news, Rudra's first concern is his Paro's pain and the beautiful scene of the young family, Paro's whole world and happiness.

The second half was gut wrenching. Paro's fear, panic, a mother's desperate attempt to protect her baby and the scene where Paro puts her son in the cupboard and the last hug and kiss and the soothing reassurance pulled at my heart strings. Sanaya, was just excellent. Thank you Sanaya for such a sensitive and nuance performance of Paro, it shall remain as one of your best. 👏👏

The other scene I liked was SuSha's bedroom talk and so glad Sumair fell in love with his daughter at first sight. They are such a "cute" couple. 😆 My heart went out to them when Mohini was taunting them in the hospital, but having heard of such things in real life, I know these kind of people and prejudices exist. Mythali too goes through another bout of humiliation.😡

I will cherish Parud and their soulful story, but as always anything which starts has to end, but there are no good byes, as the saga will live on in memories.

I won't be surprised if they introduce Myrah today itself !!

Sanaya deserves all the Best Actress awards this year ... and then some ... she has portrayed Paro beautifully through her evolution from a simple shy village belle to a woman of substance, a wife and mother ... and so naturally and beautifully that we never even realised how slow and steady was Paro's growth through the show. No major scenes, or very few ... no hard hitting dialogues ... just soft emotional words, a beautiful optimistic spirit, and a winning smile ... she was the main mover of the story ... and she crept into all our hearts without our even realising it ... witness the outpouring of grief for Paro here.

And now she turns around and has to play the polar opposite with barely a day to switch between roles. And I'm sure she will rock at that too ... granted, it is an easier role for her to play.

Both leads are under huge pressure, thanks to the makers and the channel ... they are left shouldering the burden of delivering the half baked tracks to the viewers and making them believable ... hats off to them and to the rest of the cast.

Diana, Shweta and Diya, may I just say I echo your thoughts and I open heartedly welcome Myrah and waiting for her to make us fall in love with her. Good luck to both leads for the huge task ahead of them.

I too think Sanaya deserves acting awards, but with the way TRPs dictate even these, rather then merit, I will keep my expectations low. But if Sanaya gets one against the odds, I will be thrilled!!
