Shiv's real story - Significance to RR

The real story of Shiv has two wife's who are the manifestation of each other.
His first wife 'Sati' was his strength...she was also known as Shakti who changed the rough and always angry God into a more better and calmer form of himself.

If you go by the mythological tales, 'sati' loved her husband so much that she sacrificed herself for her husband as she could not take his insult at the hands of her father. On her death, Shiv was devastated and completely abandoned everything due to his grief.

This was the time when the heaven cried and earth weeped, thus bringing on many natural disasters and threat to human life as well as the increase in demons who started taking over the Gods. In short the entire ecosystem started shaking and life as everyone knew came to a standstill.

This was when, to bring Shiv out of his grief, Parvati was born to the himalaya God. She was to be his salvation and in essence was sati herself.

As Shiv went into deep meditation, no one could breach the walls around him, but it was Parvati who after coming to age finally broke through them to reach his heart. She was the only one his heart could identify and relate to thus bringing him out of his grief and giving him a chance to start over again.

As Shiv started his life again with Parvati by his side and as his wife, peace and harmony was restored on earth and heaven.

The reason I'm citing this is because I feel what we are now looking at is a shift from 'Othello' to 'Shiv-puran'! I'm sure the CV's had not anticipated that they would have to eventually kill off Parvati or just to be logically correct they would have named her Shakti or sati...and then got in Parvati later as his second someone...still Myrah as a name has no connection with Shiv...but it does mean 'beloved'...so let's see how this shapes up!

All I'll say is, let's give this storyline a go ahead and support Sanish...if nothing else, do it for them!

Mention of shivji's two sons at dis point... Writers reminded us again that RR is somewhere weaved around Shiv parvati story... Ashish's words "justifying d story" shudnt be all baseless.
Waiting for the connection... I still feel she cannot be a mere look alike.. 😕

Well said and nicely written...

The creators of the characters and the actors who breath life into these characters are still part of the show.

They have invested the maximum amount of time into their characters and results did not weave on the TRP charts..

Now they are forced to take a diversion and will put in same amount of passion, efforts or even more to make it happen...because a lot is at stake here.

All we need to do is stand by them...its a choice ofcourse!

May sensibility prevail on the viewers I'd say...

A very well written post.
I dont know what the CVs have in store but Ashish and Sanaya made us fall in love with the characters and ythe will do it again. I have full faith in them.
I just hope they take it slow this time, let the story and characters develop at a decent pace.

Well said. I think we need a bit positivity at least for the actors who r working so hard to entertain us and save the show.
