40% increase is a wrong figure . It happens only in selected multiplexes in high end locality and upscale multiplexes which is normal for every big budget movie during festival release etc. It is not across all multiplexes .

This increase figure is half true

1 . all star release movies during eid , diwali etc. are always near equal to same increase.

2. This 40 % increase and 500 at juhu pvr is also half truth. Mostly these kind of increase happen in high end locality. Just like in juhu it will be high but in pvr in locality like goregaon it willl be low.
