You know this VM made me wanna watch Dastaan.
The scene where Fawad breaks down is so natural. I don't wanna turn this into a Dastaan FC, but man this guy has talent that I've rarely seen among BW actors. He has this way with his eyes and the way he emotes, so very natural. And the one thing I've noticed in the Pakistani dramas is the general alck of OTT crying. It's minimal acting, more subtle and whole notion of hiding your emotions from people b/c that's general how we as humans fucntion. We are not so expressly about your darkness in the real world as portrayed by the OTTness in certain genres/films.Okay, I swear no more Dastaan talks from me, from now on. It's so hard not too when we talk about Fawad. This is like my favorite telly drama ever. But I pakka promise. đłđ

I agree. I couldn't get over how handsome he is. Man, I wish the ending was different but it was strong nonetheless. I swear, when she comes back all covered in blood--Hassan knows he has lost her forever. It's sad but powerful. SB-FK will always be my favorite pair. I think there's this organic chemistry between them and all the characters they've played thus far that no one else has been able to touch. Kiran-Mujju were cute too. đ
Badshah worked with Yo Yo Honey Singh for six years, before becoming an independent composer and singer in 2012.
He debuted in Bollywood with Saturday Saturday. His second song Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai is a promotional song for Khoobsurat, where he will be featured for the first time in a Bollywood film. Bombay Times was exclusively present at the shoot and we bring you these pictures from the set, along with excerpts of a quick conversation with Badshah, the Yuvraj Singh-resembling 29-year-old munda from Chandigarh.
Having worked with Yo Yo Honey Singh, talk about your association with him. I was with him for six years and had sung a song with Honey paaji called Get Up Jawani that became a hit. I used to be with him when he lived in Noida. We would chill there, roam around on the streets making songs, until in 2012 when we decided to part ways and work independently. I have never spoken to him since. The last time I spoke to him or met him was in 2012, when I also invited him for my wedding. Honey bhaiya is amazing, hardworking, energetic, positive and has an amazing vision about himself and where he wants to take the music industry. He also has a natural charisma. His league is altogether different today and I feel happy for him. But even at that time, I was so attached to him that whenever his song was a hit, I used to feel more happy than him. Mujhelagtahaikiwoh Grammy le aayenge. His confidence is so much that I think Grammy khudh hi aajayega.
Why don't you to talk to him today? I don't want to. If I reach out to him, it will be like using him, which I don't want to do.
Your song has a line Aunty Police Bulalegi, Toh Yaar Tera Kar Lega Handle. Yo Yo Honey Singh has a very famous song Aunty Police Bulalegi. Is this inspired by that? Honey bhaiya's song is a cult song. It's a good thing if people will find that connection but for me, it's just a funny take of a very typical line up north, Aunty Police Bulalegi.

Has anyone told you that you resemble Yuvraj Singh? Yes, people do feel the lower portion of my face does resemble him. And that is not a bad thing, given that he is a smart guy.
Any favourite Bollywood star that you want to work with? My wife is a huge fan of John Abraham, so I want to work with him so that I can make her meet him.
Any plans to shift to Mumbai? No. I do have offers from Bollywood after Saturday Saturday becoming a hit, but I love Chandigarh due to its simplicity, the weather, the scenery there and the whole Punjabi atmosphere, so I am not looking at shifting to Mumbai. I write and think more when I am driving. From Chandigarh, I usually drive up to Kasauli doing that. Also when Chandigarh is dead in the evenings, it's a great time to compose.
