that's the debate... couldn't she have done it privately rather than creating a scene, and that's where difference of opinion comes in, some feel she didn't have a choice as rizwan was seconds away from putting ring on ayat's finger and others feel she could have stopped it and taken the family aside...why did she have to make it so public couldnt she say privately after the engagement but before the wedding
IMO, this was so expected, kinda had a gut feeling she'd hear gauhar's side of the story and make a decision and create a tamasha in the process and that's what happened... her intentions as always was noble, but the way she jumped to a conclusion and didn't give rizwan the chance to speak in his defence was wrong.
