Success:Story on Kalpi[Rachana] last part on Pg 140 [30th july] - Page 78

The loud ring of alarm disturbs her sound sleep.. She extends her hand to switch off the alarm and struggles to find it.. She opens her eyes slightly and checks the side table but it's empty.. She looks around only to realize that she is not in her room but in Panchgani and it's Ritu's Alarm. She switches it off n checks her mobile and finds Payal's Good morning text in the group.. She reverts back Good morning with a smiley and goes to get ready...

after half an hour she comes out of the washroom wearing a yellow salwar suit.. Her towel wrapped around her head. She again checks her mobile and doesn't find roy's reply in the group...

Kalpi(to herself) : He must be sleeping.. I should go and wake him up.. today is sunday so boys must have gone out for playing cricket..

While going towards the hostel she looks at the playground.. Few boys playing cricket there... She notice Roy among them and smiles.. She turns to go back when she sees girls playing basket ball.. She remembers her days when she used to see her classmates playing basket ball from the window of the library.. in freetime she used to come here and practice alone.. While she was busy in her school days a girl requests her to join them.. She agrees.. Roy who has noticed her by now follows her...

Roy watches her happily playing with everyone.. Kalpi takes out her towel which was tied on hair and moves her head.. Few water droplets splashes on Roy's face.. he moves towards her and holds her from the waist.. Kalpi turns a bit and lowers her head on seeing Roy.. He hugs her and blows slowly on her neck.. She blushes and turns towards him.. With his fingers he moves the wet hair which has come on her face and kisses her forehead.. Kalpi hides her face in his chest..

A sudden laughter takes Roy out of his imagination.. Kalpi was still in the court laughing with girls while Raghav staring at her...He wipes the water droplets of his face and runs towards the girls..

Roy : So only girls are allowed to play this game??

One girl : No bhaiya.. If u want u can join us..

Roy : Ok so.. Me and Kalpi in one team and u all in others..

Kalpi : But I am not good in playing.. I mean I know the rules but I have never payed it with others... U may lose coz of me..

Roy : Don't worry.. I won't let u lose.. We will win for sure.. Ur support is my strength.

On this Kalpi looks into Roy's eyes.. They again shares an eyelock. The game starts.. Kalpi and Roy are playing very well.. The girls were giving them a tough competition.. During the game many times Roy and Kalpi touched each other and felt something for each other.. Kalpi has done only single basket but still they are leading coz of Roy.. Finally girl's team leads covers the difference.. Kalpi has the ball.. She was about to do the basket in last minute but looks at the disappointed faces of the girls and intentionally loses it.. In the process she trips a bit but Roy catches her in time.. Extra time was given to them.. Ball is in Roy's hand but a girl omes and snatches it from him and a basket.. Girl team wins but they compliments Roy on his skills.. He compliments them back and the girl Preeti who did last basket.. Kalpi tells him to move as they have to go out.. Roy nods and they leaves the court together.. They are sweating badly so Roy suggests to rest for few minutes and they sit under the shade of a tree...

Kalpi : Why u let Preeti snatch the ball from u..I saw u doing that intentionally..

Roy : The same reason for which u missed the last basket..

Kalpi : Hmm.. u played really well..

Roy : It's Payal's favorite game.. She taught me... Btw u too played well..

Kalpi : I just learned by seeing other's playing..

Roy : That's great..

Kalpi : Let's move out.. We have to come back early today for bonfire..

Roy : So u know it

Kalpi : Yes.. Roy.. I don't know how should I thank u.. U have always tried to fulfill my small small wishes.. First beetle car and now bonfire.. I dnt know how will I repay it..

Roy(in a serious tone) : It's easy.. I want you to do something for me..

Kalpi scares a bit.. She knows Roy's feelings very well and doesn't want him to ask the thing which she can't give but than she remembers all the time they spent together.

Kalpi(worriedly) : What??

Roy : Come and have breakfast with me.. I am very hungry now..

Kalpi laughs on it.. Roy asks her whether she was scared.. Kalpi nods in yes..

Roy : Don't worry sweetheart.. I won't do anything which hurts u.. I just want ur happiness.. That is all that matter to me..

Kalpi lowers her gaze in guilt.. Roy notices it..

Roy : So u have decided to kill me by hunger..

Kalpi : Ohh no.. Let's go out.. We will have something there.

Kalpi and Roy roams whole day. They visited different places.. Clicks many photos.. chatted and enjoyed a lot.. Kalpi was really happy in this place...At last She takes him to the temple where she used to worship in her school days.. They enters the temple together.. It's a very small shiv temple.. Kalpi greets the panditji and gives him some money for prasad..

Kalpi : Roy.. u know there was a dog moti.. He was one of my friend.. He must have died by now.. But it was such a cute dog.. He never used to bite anyone.. I used to bring biscuits for him.. Today also I brought it but I guess he must have dies by now

Roy : U love dogs??

Kalpi : Yes.. I would like to have one dog in the future..

Roy : Don't worry we will keep 2..

Kalpi : What??

Roy : nothing.. I was saying that I too want to have a dog.. U know in childhood I had one dog Romi.. I loved him a lot.. Mom used to say that My wife will feel jealous of us.. N I used to reply that No matter what.. I will love Romi more than her..

Kalpi laughs and Roy sighs a relief that she dint heard him. They prays to the god..

Kalpi : God.. I am not praying here for the first time but first time I am not asking anything from u.. I just want to thank u for giving me such a good life.. I always cursed u for not giving me any happiness but now I realized that u gave me sadness so that I can cherish the happiness u r giving me now. Thank u god.. thanks a lot.. Plz keep Roy happy.. Give him whatever he asks..

Roy : God.. I don't know this worshiping and all.. u never gave me opportunity to ask anything but today I am asking u Kalpi's happiness... Plz help her in taking right decision.. I know somewhere she still misses that man.. I have seen her engagement ring in her bag..God plz guide her.. Give her strength either to wear that ring or let it go.. Her inner turmoil is killing her everyday.. I love her smile.. Plz bless her and never ever let her cry..

They finishes their pray and goes to the hostel.. Roy looks at the atmosphere and cribs saying it's gonna rain today.. Rain will spoil the pan but Kalpi tells him not to worry.. We will enjoy till the rain.. She tells him why to think about the things which are not in our hand instead we should enjoy what we head..

Senior secondary students n RoKa reaches the small ground which is in the mid of the school and hostels.. It's sort of separated from the campus so it's safe to have bonfire there.. Roy ignites the fire in the woods kept in the mid and everyone sits around it.. They discusses the games to play.. Ritu suggest dumb charades. It's boys vs girls.. Roy and Kalpi being elected as captains of the respective teams.. Girls were given the first chance.. They selects Roy to enact.. One girl gives movie to Roy "Pyar toh hona hi tha".. He is confused.. He tries to enact but boys fails to guess.. Girls laugh on them..

Roy : That's cheating.. No one can guess the movie..

Ritu : Bhaiya.. Stop being a cry baby.. U try again.. We will guess the movie..

Roy : But u already know it..

Ritu : No.. we don't.. Only the person who gives movie knows it.. U try once..

Kalpi : Roy.. plz try once.. for me

Roy agrees and again tries to say something.. girls laugh on him.. Kalpi fumes on them and roy remembers the song they heard in the car.. He gestures Kalpi to concentrate at him.. With his hands he shows the tea cup and car drive.. Kalpi remembers the moment and blushes.. Roy understands her smile and stops doing anything..

Ritu : Bhaiya u r so poor in acting...

Kalpi : Pyar to hona hi tha..

everyone claps except Kalpi and Roy.. There eyes were talking for them.. They keeps on staring at each each other with a smile on the lips.. Now it's kalpi's turn.. A boys gives her the movie.. "I love u..". she starts acting.. Girls trying to guess.. Her eyes meet with Roy and he whispers.. "Me too". No one can hear him but Kalpi reads his lips.. She stands there for a second but than behaves as if she dint understood it.. Girls shout on Kalpi to enact.. She tries again and this time they guess "I love u." All claps.. They keeps on playing.. Meanwhile Kalpi and Roy stealing glances at each other.. The game ends and girls win.. They tell boys to sing for them now.. They start singing.. Girls join too.. Some of them starts dancing and enjoying.

Wind start blowing and drizzling starts.. Kalpi tells everyone to go to the hostel now.. She makes sure that everyone reach safely and searches Roy.. She goes back to the ground.. Heavy raining starts.. roy is enjoying the weather.. Kalpi goes to him and tells him to come with her but he holds her hand and pulls her closer.. whispers in her ears "One dance". Kalpi replies "No music".. He keeps her hand on his heart and looks into her eyes.. "Now". Kalpi nods in yes.. They starts dancing.. Their heartbeats were in sync.. They are lost in each other.. As sudden bolt of thunder takes them closer.. She can feels his breath on her lip.. They stare in each other eyes.. Their faces keeps coming closer.. Lips touching with each other and clouds thunder again.. She hugs him tightly and closes her eyes.. Suddenly she hears her mother saying.. "World will tag u as gold digger." She leaves him with a jerk and runs towards the hostel.. Roy smiles and extends his hands to feel the rain..

Roy(shouts) : I love u Kalpana.. I love u a lot..

with a smile on his face he enters the room where he was staying.. he looks at kalpi's mobile on the table and thinks to give it to her.. He can't enter in the hostel so decides to give it the warden and rushes towards her room.

Kalpi was fully drenched.. She enters the hostel and sees warden waiting there with a towel.. They moves towards warden's room. She takes the towel and starts wiping her hair.. Tears rolling down..

Warden : He loves u..

Kalpi looks at her in astonishment..

Warden : I saw everything.. I came there to give u umbrella.. He loves u than what is the problem..

Kalpi doesn't respond.. She cried bitterly and hugs the warden..

W : Kalpi I know we are not close enough to discuss ur personal details but I have seen love for u in his eyes.. u have stayed here for so many years so I know u very well.. U haven't told me anything but I have sensed the loneliness in ur eyes.. But u r not the same Kalpi now.. For the first time I am seeing a happy Kalpi and I can say that this happiness is coz of him..

Kalpi : Problem is not in him but me... I am the problem..

Kalpi tells her what all happened with her and how she lefte mumbai and met Roy and payal.. Warden hugs her on hearing this..

W : Oh my child.. So much happened with u.. I know how u felt but my child life has to move on.. Do u still love Raghav?? What u feel for Roy??

Kalpi : Raghav is the one who taught me what is love.. He is the one who taught me to live for love.. To live for him.. I was happy when he was around.. His presence made me feel lively.. I have dreamed my life with him..

Roy who has come to return the mobile hears it.. He breaks on hearing it. He turns around and leaves the place.. just than Kalpi's mob rings..She got a msg from Payal.. By mistake Roy opens it.. He reads "Pakhi and Sammy are marrying on Tuesday.. Sorry I saw the card now." Roy feels like someone sucked his blood .. He feels suffocated and runs to the washroom.. He cries aloud and calls Payal..

Kalpi and warden are still talking.. They have not seen Roy there..

Kalpi : But Roy... He has taught me how to love.. He taught me to love myself.. to smile.. to live life for myself.. His absence bothers me.. he help me in meeting Kalpana who was lost in this world.. I have never dreamed my life with him but I can't imagine my life without him.. Being with Roy means being with myself.. I can live without Raghav but how I can live without myself.. My day starts with Roy and ends with his thoughts.. He is everywhere around me.. In my prayers.. In my success.. in my thoughts.. in my heart and in my breath.. How can I leave breathing.. I love Roy.. Yes I love Roy..

she hugs warden and shouts.. "I love you Roy...I love you.. I do not care about ayi or anyone else.. I just love u.."

Roy shouting on Payal on the call.. "U hid such a big thing from me.. Raghav and Pakhi are divorced and he is still waiting for Kalpi.. Kalpi loves Raghav and Raghav loves Kalpi.. What m I doing in the mid.. "

Payal tries to convince him but he shuts her up.. payal tells him to come back and we will talk about it late but he says "I know what I have to do now" and disconnects the call.
