BV is old at 6!

6 is old for tv serials. BV managed it because it gave Colors something to be proud of. The onslaught of many serials dented BV's sheen to some extent but BV is surviving. And also giving us some good episodes to think and discuss.

It has given us memorable characters like dadisa, Bhairon and sumitra, Basant and Gehna.

The second rung and the next generation characters like anandi, Jagya, shiv, gauri, ganga gave us many splendid episodes.

New characters are introduced and some are trying to get a footfold. Dont resent the new because the stagnant waters need some fresh water too.

Now we have more happy faces. Previously there were less happy faces.

More issues are taken up while not abandoning some old issues.

These 6 years could have been pruned to 3 years with some tight editing and made into a film.

Ending with Jagya anandi at the crossroads.

As BV is being telecast in so many languages, the film can be made in those respective languages on a low budget.

It will be an international hit ...may get an Oscar ...because of the content ,---the conditions and the continuous struggle of the hapless women remained same everywhere , and a constant worry for the sociologists world over !--- but they must be careful while selecting the actors ! The Singhs and Shiv must be the same ...but ...

BV is old at 6 and they are trying to drag it some more by introducing the likes of DB.

Yes, that would have been great. Or otherwise it could have ended with Anandi's second marriage and J's third marrige with them living a life happily ever after.

what a milestone to achieve and that too keeping the overall theme of the show intact...👏
