Why are Bhallas' Sad or shocked??

While Ashok put the ring on Shagun finger all the Bhallas' are sad and shocked they should be happy instead??
Hope to get the answer...

May be they dint expect Shagun to accept the proposal as Ashok couldn't help in Adi's case. Considering she is Adi's mother she should still be angry with Ashok. May be that's the reason.

They were shocked because here adi was under remand and their ashok is proposing shagun for marriage and both were happy

may be they think if they both married then getting adi's custody will be difficult for Bhalla's as shagun will not be a so called single mother... both are rich and pretending that they love adi so these all will be minus for them in custody case
