While Shootout ... star Vivek Oberoi may be busy shooting on father's day, his dad is celebrating his beta's success with style. In fact, Suresh Oberoi has booked tickets – an entire show, if rumour is to be believed - for close friends and family so that they can watch Vivek on screen for the umpteenth time. "I wanted to take my family out for the entire day, but I thought this was an ideal way to celebrate Father's Day. I am truly a proud father today," an emotional Suresh Oberoi was heard confiding in a friend. "It is laudable how Vivek has proved his point after all the media bashing and everything that went wrong. He has had his say at last. I think his portrayal of Maya Dolas is excellent. The way he has incorporated certain nuances of the gangster, right down to the handkerchief on his hand and mannerisms is amazing. Never once has he come to me for advise on how to do a role – he is a self-made man. I am truly proud of my son." We think Vivek should take a bow. He has truly gifted his father the perfect gift on Father's Day!

Aww sweet. Finally Vivek is doing roles that showcase his talent as he always had great potential right from Saathiya but he let his ego cloud his judgement. Now that he concentrates on his work, he is tasting success.

yes i liked his role as maya dolas . he has put lots of efforts to potray that character. i was also impressed by his acting in the film company. keep up the great work. cheers
