Newcomer frightens directors

Debutante Urvashi Sharma really scared directors Abbas-Mustan, while they were shooting for their forthcoming film Naqaab recently. Abbas narrates the incident, "When we explained the film to her, we had told her that there was a scene where she had to drive a motor boat. We asked her if she knew how to drive one and she assured us that she had done it earlier. We shot the scene with the camera on one boat and her on the other. As we were shooting, she disappeared from view. The boat was right there but she was in the water. We could not understand what was happening. We started searching for her and she was out of the water after a few minutes. We had made all the arrangements for such mishaps but for those few moments, we were tensed."

"It was only later that she confessed she had never ridden a boat and that she was scared that she would lose the film if she admitted it. We told her that she should have informed us in the beginning," he adds.

The directors are quite impressed with the hard work that she has put in and they are all praises for her. They have also shot a salsa number with Akshaye and Urvashi in the film. "We asked Pritam to compose a theme and a song especially on salsa. The song is picturised on Akshaye and Urvashi. It was the first song we shot for the film and it has turned out to be wonderful," Mustan says.

After Humraaz, they have cast Akshaye Khanna and Bobby Deol together for Naqaab. "The story and concept is entirely different. Humraaz had Akshaye in an award-winning negative role. But here his character has just a few grey shades. In Naqaab, all the three protagonists Bobby, Akshaye and Urvashi play mind games. The film starts off as a typical story where a boy and a girl fall in love and plan to get married. But, then there is a twist in the tale when a man comes into the girl's life and she has an affair with him as well. But what is seen is not true, there's a Naqaab before it," Mustan explains.

Looks like she was trying to impress the directors too much!!!!😆

She wanted to impress them so much at the cost of her own safety. The story sounds similiar to Humraaz.
