I don't much care for Meera's character.
Meera the kid was adorable. Gave rise to so much expectation as "grown - up" Meera.

The character became pathetic "selling" flowers in the temple.

"Panditji" did not thnk of sending Meera to school hi kya?

Or else Panditji could have taught her to read and write a bit in Sansrit at least.

It is really strange he kept Meera uneducated. Only singing "bhajans"

Now Meera is "back" in Modi bhavan. And Gopi is trying to make her study.

And all the kid says is that she "does not want to study" !!!

She knows it breaks her mother's heart. She knows the whole family her mom, aunt, grand parents, grand aunt uncle baa every one is good for her and they want her to study.

and she also knows Urmila behn is bad for the house and she does not wish her good.

C'mon Meera is eleven years old she knows a few things by now. actually lot of things.

And the kid says she does not want to study thus making Gopi cry.

The story is crappy. And Meera's character is portrayed as stupid.

Pity the kid who plays Meera's character. Hard on her.

I don't much care for Meera's character any more.

Agreed.
Two statements made yesterday and today annoyed me to no end! One yesterday like you said when Meera said she didn't want to study, Gopi replied that studying was essential to leading a respectful life. I could not believe that the CVs would then make Meera say that she was ready to live a life without respect!

The other one is today when Gopi said that half her life was over and so it was okay that she could make do with less education! Gopi is supposed to be 30-32 yrs. old. Are the CVs proposing that a woman's life is almost over at 30?

What kind of messages are these! I've watched this serial since the beginning... No amount of weird storyline or weird dialogue has bothered me as much as these did!!

Yes Gopi saying that is wrong message to viewers. At 32 women get married nowadays. Gopi has a kid. But Gopi can persue her studies from home even now. Can't she? I am sure she will get enough support from Kokilaben.

At 32 half one's life is not "over" unless the person dies at 64. really!

Gopi had eight years to pursue her stuides when she worked in the school. and she can continue even now. May be that would inspire Meera.

Really I don't like the kid character. especially when she says stuff like she is willing to live without respect. But she will not "study". That is talking too much. that too for a kid who sings "bhajans" and is pious.

This Meera' s education track itself is stupid. They should have shown her learning at a fast rate. not nonsense like this.

May be they wanted to show the "materji" and Gopi track. Masterji gifts Gopi with the head band . but why should he put it in her hair himself that too in front of Ahem? That was stupid.
