Ek Hasina Thi Written Update 17th July 2014

The assassin aka Elena arrives on the bike and the guys are surprised to see her. Shaurya introduces Elena to his friends and shows her a picture of Dev. Meanwhile Dev brings Durga home and Suchitra is happy to see her. Sakshi is constantly trying to contact Shourya but he ignores the call. Shaurya tells Elena that he'll inform the the exact time. On the other hand, Rajnath speaks to the Commissioner and tells him about the situation. He says that it's not like he's getting such calls for the first time, but this is a serious matter. Raj tells him to look into the matter as early as possible. Suchitra informs them that Dev managed to convince Durga and finally she's here. Sakshi and Raj are equally surprised. Sakshi says she is worried about her son. Raj tells her that this is equally important. Durga meets them and apologizes for her behavior. Raj says anyone in her place would have reacted in the same way. Raj says from now on Durga is like his daughter. Akash arrives to talk about the extortion call Sakshi says they'll talk later, Raj tells her that this is related to the Cancer project and he doesn't want to hide anything from Durga. Raj informs them about the extortion calls made to Shaurya and Rajnath demanding 10 crores. Dev asks why he wasn't informed about it. Suchitra says he wasn't here hence they didn't tell him. Akash says these were internet calls made through a particular software. The IP address has been tracked and the calls were made from Chennai & Malaysia. Suchitra says first Dev was attacked and now these calls. Raj says they're not related to each other. Dev inquires about Shaurya. Raj tells him that he may be with his friends. Once he sees the missed calls he would call back. Durga decides to leave and Dev volunteers to take her home. Dev says he doesn't want to take any chance especially after these extortion calls.

Durga is wondering about the Goenka's new enemy. Dev talks about Shaurya's carelessness regarding the situation. Durga says that the call was made to Shaurya and then Rajnath. Instead it should have been the other way. Karan praises Shaurya's planning. Shaurya says who could imagine that a girl would do this job. Everyone would keep searching while she'd be long gone. Sakshi calls up Shaurya and this time he answers the call. Sakshi inquires about his whereabouts and Shaurya tells her that he is at Karan's farmhouse. She informs him that Raj also received a call and this time demanding ransom of 10 crores. She also tells him that they've informed the cops about it. Shaurya smirks as his plan is right on track. Sakshi tells him to come home right away. He refuses saying that he'll be fine but Sakshi is adamant. She tells him that Dev has gone to drop Durga home. Shaurya's smile disappears and he asks Sakshi why she had come. Sakshi says that's not so important at the moment. Shaurya tells his mother not to worry as he'll be back soon. A furious Shaurya decides to teach Dev a lesson.

Durga thanks Dev for reaching her home. Dev says he should thank her for coming to his house. Just then he receives a call from the unknown number (Shaurya). Shaurya says that he and his family are acting too smart by calling the cops. He demands 12 crores. Karan signals him to ask for more money. Dev says the cops are doing their work and this time they'll find out who is behind all this. Shaurya then asks for 15 crores. Dev says he should have asked for forgiveness. Shaurya says he knows that at the moment he is at Durga Thakur's house and Shaurya is with his friends. Now he will show how seriously he takes his work. Dev panics and is on the way to meet Shaurya while he calls up Elena. Durga decides to go with Dev but he refuses. Shaurya tells Elena that her target is on the way.
