Yesterday's episode was nicely paced, well-written and engrossing. A filler, yet it did manage to entertain.
What stuck out like a sore thumb, was one piece of dialogue.
Shaurya saying-
"Mein Durga ke side par tha, hoon, or hamesha rahoonga!"😕
Umm...did I miss something in the last few episodes, writers?😲
I mean...what the hell was that about? 😳😡
I think the dialogue was severely misplaced because it goes against Shaurya's objectification of women and how he treats them. Is Durga his janmon-janmon ka pyaar or what! 😲
We all know that this is as far from the truth than can be. The dialogue goes as far against his characterization as possible. Maybe I am nitpicking, but I think the creatives need to look into small glitches like this.😳
Consistency is key, especially with regard to characterization.
The very idea of Shaurya pursuing Durga for a bet is pukeworthy, and then he goes on to say something like this. So on top of everything we are supposed to believe in the credibility of such a statement🥱 The audience doesn't suffer from amnesia, we all know what a kameena he is and what his intentions for Durga are🤢
Woh villian/utter scoundrel/rogue/manipulator/wicked schemer/ barbaric/shameless/brute/blot on the face of humanity hai. Usse aise hi rehne do😳 Hero ke dialogues dene ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.😃
