Awesome post.
I loved the Dayal-Durga scenes and oh man I do love Durga's brain. She is one intelligent lady- and unlike Sakshi, she doesn't go blindly by her "instincts."
Sakshi is intelligent and though she acts smart she makes the mistake of underestimating too much. That outburst from Rajnath has been brewing for a while, definitely.
Yes, I noticed too how all the Goenkas think about is winning. Winning, winning winning. And that's what's going to make them lose.

If Durga is a toofan, this is one storm that arrives without warning. :D

@ trina_saras
Totally correct observation about Sakshi demanding attention and ego boost. Indeed the gaudy colours and huge bindi were to be center of attraction even though it was not her son's puja.
Apart from Shaurya indeed her biggest weakness is that blind faith on Raima...the so called soul sister!

@Dolly

Yes I am glad Durga is back to her original mission but let's see how much it lasts after Dev is shot. I am afraid Durga might start feeling extremely guilty and give up her works, get thrown back in sea of memories and guilt. Though I would personally like her to blast Goenkas someway for this fatal attempt or investigate it, somehow make Dev and Suchitra see what family is doing to them...I doubt if it would happen since the trigger for this action is the drama that she did by pitting brothers against each other.

@Mona

Well..it's okay. I am just blunt with kind of comments I make and say things as it is whether I love something in the show or hate something. If at times I seem to be more critical it is only due to expectations which this fab show has created. I have no intention of spreading negativity.

@ shrutiravi

Thanks.😊 Agreed totally. Sakshi ruined Shaurya further by saving him from consequences of his first grave crime. Rajnath himself is a criminal. Even if he has a chat with Shaurya it is not to tell him not to commit crimes but to commit them in a foolproof manner so that nobody knows!😲 Shaurya is mad himself but his parents are no better. I have serious doubts on pedigree of both Sakshi and Rajnath!

@divyadollar

Thanks.😊 My name is Anu.

@bookworm-ALS

Thanks. 😊 You are spot on about Sakshi being overconfident and underestimating her adversary. Maybe because in past she has easily trampled people under her feet, she thinks it will be a cakewalk even now. She has instinct in right place about Durga being here for a purpose but just fails to use that much brain. Durga examines every aspect of what she is going to approach. Sakshi simply stuffed Shekhar with bribes but never bothered to check what his proof was and how much could it be used against Durga.
If Rajnath had his way he would have put Sakshi in place just the way he did with Shaurya. 😆

For a long time he has been searching for something against Sakshi. Like he suspected affair with Mathur and later Akash. But he could not find anything and has to restrain himself due to secrets Sakshi is privy to. Even now he was controlled in his lecture to Sakshi. 😉

@shivmala

Thanks.😊

I would have liked to see a scene with Dev putting the episode in context, having flashbacks and trying to join the dots. I want him to observe the fishy behaviour of other Goenkas. He has an idea about Rajnath and Shaurya. I want to hear it from him on Sakshi as well.
Even Suchitra never looks back in retrospect? What a passive woman! 😲

You covered the episode really well👏

I liked the fact that Durga is not gloating about her victory over Shekar and has decided to concentrate on her next move. That she suspects the extortion call as somebody's plan is good as it shows how well she has come to understand the Goenka's and their moves.. Anything that happens in the Goenka house is somehow connected to something that will happen later. I hope Durga keeps up her vigil and does not lose the edge.

The episode reinforced my opinion about Shourya. He is a weakling and has an extraordinarily huge ego that only makes him more repulsive than ever. Unfortunately I do not feel any chill as Shourya plans his next moves. The problem with Shourya is that he has a bloated self worth and considers himself 'clever'. The fact that he is stupid and has till now managed to escape is only because of his mother and the money that comes in his family has either eluded him or he has chosen to ignore that fact. He will lead the Goenka's to their downfall. And again, while I do respect Vatsal for trying, I find his take on Shourya a little bit flat.

Sakshi got it all wrong this time. Her ego will not let her see that fact. To her, her control over her family and especially Shourya needs to be complete and Durga is a threat to that control. Hence she hates her.
For the first time we see Sakshi's real opinion about Shourya's habit of treating women as objects. Her overwhelming love for her disgusting son will lead to her downfall. This episode was an eye opener as to what Sakshi Goenka's greatest punishment would be. Not just to lose the Goenka name but to lose control over her son and more than that to have him turn against her will destroy her.

I couldn't have put it in better words about Rajnath and Raima. Raima has no qualms betraying her 'soul sister's ' trust while Rajnath nurses his broken ego and belittles his wife to her best friend and mistress. This is a truly twisted tale🤢

101% agreed. 👍🏼 You put it really well, especially on that wannabe Shaurya! He is just a disgusting irritating, good for nothing, brat!🤢 Kudos for the guts to comment on his acting too. I have done it earlier only to get snide comments from his fans.

I also hope Durga keeps vigil and does not lose sight of the path.
