Also that Raima is in her own house getting the messages.

As Shakespeare says, "what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive."

If they can't trust each other, whom can they trust? Obviously God is out of the question because if they believed in the first place they wouldn't be double crossing each other.

One thing I forgot to point out is when Sakshi showed up for Raima's so-called party she was fishing for compliments on her outfit. A secure woman does not do this, she is such an ego-driven maniac. Needs a chamchi by her side at every turn. Do we ever hear Durga going for praise on her appearance?

The rich like to flatter themselves and when that isn't enough they find someone to do it for them. 🤢

the line is red is so true for not just raima but for also this goenka trio. It is their ego that is making them see them-self as almighty, especially their lusty, ladala . But they all forget that in this battlefield their only true armor is their ego, once it is stripped, they all are as naked and helpless like a new born child.

@Dolly
Thanks.😊

Agree on Raima burning both ends of the candle! She is going to pay severely for this.
Good point on contrast between Dayal-Durga and Goenkas. 👍🏼 The former are not even related to each other yet share such love and caring bond. Whereas the latter has no feelings for each other despite ties of blood and matrimony. 🤢

Indeed this serial shows all shades of both men and women at their best as well as worst.😊

@chitra

Thanks! 😊 You nailed it with the mention of EGO.👍🏼 This is what primarily drives Goenkas and this is what Durga keeps attacking and should attack in future also. Then destruction will be a given as they end up fighting amongst each other and go in self combust mode.

This show is bang on for today's times when there are too many instances of brutal rapes and cases of even employees of the rich exploiting poor girls in name of power (SRK driver rape case, Dharmendra security guard molestation case). Even employees of the rich are drunk on power and exploit the poor and vulnerable. 🤢
A commercial, fiction show like EHT is needed to spread awareness!

The armor of the materially wealthy is always on the outside. Ego-based as you said. But unlike spirituality, this armor has chinks which over time get bigger and bigger. Durga has ego, but less than these people and it is based on her faith in God. It cannot have chinks because it is based on someone infinite and by definition has no beginning or end.

@atominis nice post and an excellent analysis. Shaurya is mad. By saving Shaurya from rape case Sakshi has not helped him, but has sent him more downhill. Her idiot son is now so confident that he can get away with anything that includes murder of his cousin brother. I have always beleived pushing crimes under carpet begets more crimes. Forgiving crimes without making the perpetuator repent is like giving them confidence to do more and worse crimes.
Sakshi has exactly done that. Rajnath well he himself is criminal and cant see anything beyond business.
He is ok with his son making bets on girls. Disgusting father I would say
