The episode begins with Raj trying to convice Puru asking him why he doesnt want to appoint Jassi as the CEO as she was well capable and efficient. Ila asks Puru if he was ready to leave, Arman asks again why he wasnt ready to appoint her as the CEO , Puru replies that no explanations should be asked during voting and they would wait for Aryan's vote to finalise everything and gets ready to leave. Arman calls out his mom when Ila asks him to not call her mom coz when they are in the boardroom , they were thr directors of the company and not mom and dad and leave.
The gang and Jassi are waiting excitedly for the news to become official. Just then Raj comes out , he informs them that Jassi's appointment hasnt become official yet and there would be another boardmeeting the next day . Jassi is shocked so is the gang, they ask him why when Raj tells them that it was Puru who voted against her appointment. Jassi is shatteted, the gang try to console her but in vain.
she is waiting by the lift when it opens and Puru and Ila step out. Puru apologises for his vote against her but then explains that his reasons cannot be explained and it was something that was very difficult for him to do. Jassi is shocked but Ila interrrupts and tells her that the reason why they voted against him was that she wasnt from their family and they cannot give their company to a person who had no rishta with them ( I agree, its thier company which they built with their hardwork,why would they hand it over to an unknown person who had joined as a secretary) . Jassi is almost in tears but controls herself while Puru and Ila leave.
Billo somehows coax's Nandu to blurt out the surprise. Billlo is in utter disbelief when Nandu tells him abt Jassi becoming the CEO of GM soon. He is still in shock when Jassi enters sadly , he congragulates her but Jassi in tears hugs him tightly.
Aryan and Puru are having drinks together, he apologises for not attending the meeting . Puru says its ok but informs him that the meeting was going to be held the next day and he hopes he would be there , Aryans confirms his presence but asks Puru what the agenda for the meeting was. Puru is shocked and asks him if Arman didnt inform him,Aryan nods NO , Puru tells him abt Arman's proposal to make Jassi the CEO , Aryan is shocked and disgusted. He thinks to himself why Arman was taking such a decision , when Arman comes in , he greets the both of them. Puru is abt to leave but asks Aryan to join them for dinner, Aryan excuses himself . Puru goes off leaving Arman and Aryan alone, Aryan asks him abt his proposal to make Jassi the CEO and tells him that he knew that behind his proposal was a big secret which he was hiding from everyone and GM , but one day his chori would be caught and he would make sure that it happens. Arman tells himself that Aryan would never ever vote for Jassi. ( btw for once Aryan looked more handsome than Arman, I must say)
Jassi is sad and Billo is trying to console her encouraging her. Jassi tells him that she didnt care if she was the CEO or not but she was more concerned abt GM ( why, what makes her think that only she can save GM, it irritates me), anyway Purab enters , he asks if they had seen Jassi , the one who never had the word DEFEAT in her dictionary, he impresses them with his encouraging words, Jassi herself atlast comes back and asks him to wait as the jassi who never accepted defeat was right there, this makes both Purab and Billo happy.
Jassi enters GM thinking if she would become the CEO and she never had the ambition to be one but she was doing all this for GM and its betterment and to win back the trust that she lost . She turns when Raj and Arman enter worried abt Aryan's vote and the outcome of the meeting. Arman tells him that he was sure that Aryan would never make Jassi the CEO and they were doomed and what would he say to Jassi . Raj hopes Aryan doesnt come and perhaps meet with some accident, he asks Arman to calm down and hope for the best.Arman thinks to himself that it was a big mistake to accept Jassi's challenge to make her the CEO. Jassi overhears everything and thinks to herself that she wasnt bechaari as Arman thought and leaves.
Next day, the board are waiting for Aryan when he enters in style . He apologises for being late and takes his seat. Puru commences the meeting and asks him to vote against or in favour of Jassi appointed as the CEO. They are all abt to commence when Jassi enters to everyones shock, she tells them that she wanted their 2 minutes and tells them that they should all vote thinking abt GM and its betterment in mind and not her . She also tells them that she was the same Jassi who started out as a secretary and who has come to this level now , she hopes that everyone takes into consideration whats best for GM and then gives their vote. She also tells them that whatever the outcome , she would accept their decision and leaves.
Aryan is giving his vote while Arman is thinking that Aryan would never give his vote in favour of Jassi To everyones shock, Aryan slowly shows them his vote and its YES. While Ila and Puru are unhappy, Arman and Raj heave a huge sigh of relief. Aryan gives them a sly smile.
Outside, the gang ask Jassi to be calm when a tensed Arman comes and announces to them that Jassi had become the CEO and the board approved her appointment but just for 6 months. They are all happy and congragulate her , Jassi is extremely happy and delighted. Meanwhile an unhappy Arman watches all this celebration thinking abt the decision he had made and not happy abt it.
THE SCENE OF THE DAY
He turns around to go to his cabin when he meets up with a smiling Aryan who asks him if he wouldnt even say a thank you as it was him who cast the deciding vote which enabled his proposal to be approved. Arman reluctantly says thanks and leaves . Jassi who has overheard that comes to Aryan and tells him that she never expected him to vote for her but she was happy that he made his decision keeping GM in mind when Aryan stops her. He asks her if she was in her right mind and what made her think that he cast his vote listening to her bhashan ? , he smiles and tells her that he voted for her for only one reason, Arman in hiding and Jassi both wait for the answer when Aryan tells her that the only reason that he voted for her was to prove that anyone could run GM better than Arman👏 and it would be great when everyone sees Jassi running the company better than Arman. Arman is shocked and shaken while Jassi is shocked too, he caught them both offguard. Aryan continues to say that it would have been difficult for him to remove Arman from the CEO post but now it had become so much easy with her as the CEO and asks her to wait and watch how he throws her out in a jiffy and leaves smiling. Before leaving he asks Jassi to not be in any galath family that he was doing all that for her ( hehehe, she needed that)👏 way to go Aryan , wah wah
The episode ends with Aryan eaving a shaken Jassi and Arman.
Comments : a very good episode, Vinay Jain as Aryan stole the show. His crisp dialogues and his clever startegy was soooo brilliant. I am very sure that he could run GM better than Arman. Now if Jassi succeeds, Arman would go down and if Jassi fails then Arman goes down with her. Jassi again irritated me to no end with her bhashans abt how they should vote for GM's betterment again and again implying that GM wouldnt run if she was not made the CEO and only she could save GM. I mean c'mon Mallika and Aryan could run them as well as her. I was also irritated with Purab over-sugary bhashan. Anyway Aryan way to go and he looked dashing and handsome I must say. Also Puru and Ila were so classy and dignified, JJKN was so good that they showed characters like Puru and Ila explaining to Jassi abt their decision and they both are so classy and best suited for their respective roles.👏
