If mihir is shagun's brother sure he got an important role to play !!!!!!
In ruhi's case ishitha was appointed as an authority to select whom to choose either shagun or raman.
By marrying raman she got ruhi, also ruhi stated "I want to live with ishitha aunty" but legally it is impossible.
In aadhi case"if judge ask your mother lost your custody , "Are you willing to go with dad??? sure he will say no!!! and choose ashok, but ashok is not legally married to shagun. so judge will ask some other blood relation that time "mihir will stand up"
Finally "MIHIR WILL GET AADHI CUSTODY"
later aadhi will understand his dad "custody shift to raman and ishitha"
This is my view (if not now atleast in future).
note: In ruhi's case raman quote i got some person to refer, but don't want him to involve(keeping mihir in his mind)
