There should be a rating issued to brutal killing of Abhimanyu
R13 at least

The scene is very graphic and the brutal killing can linger in the minds of the young

I had that impact when I saw BR Chopras Mahabharata years ago

The screams the pain the bleeding should be reserved for mature audience

br chopda mb is the only mb I have fully watched. don't know abt how other version portrayed abhi death but abhi death in b r chopda mb used to make me cringe as well as cry at the same times. his crying pitashree pitashree used to kind of haunt me. that guy who played abhi was really a gr8 actor. I agree if sp mb is going to show it brutal kids should not watch it.

Mahabharat itself as a whole is not for Kids , the brutal killing of Abhimanyu is just one of many Tracks , I some how feel many more tracks like The dyut sabha etc are also not fit for tender minds its actually for mature audience .

Yes it is a little traumatic. I also remember BR Chopra's MB. Abhimanyu's death is really heart-wrenching. After once I watched that episode I didn't repeat it in any other version.
But Abhimanyu was indeed a real hero who met a tragic end. That's what made him special. He made a bigger name in history than Arjuna/ Karna. Coz he showed so much courage nd bravery at such a young age.

In fact it is bcoz of Abhimanyu's birth that Arjuna-Subhadra were made to unite in a matrimonial alliance.

So when I look at the bigger picture, I feel that it was meant to happen that way only...

I had seen BRC MB once it had started airing on private channels and I was around eight when I had seen the Abhimanyu vadh! It was a traumatic experience. Seeing a blood drenched panting and dying young lad had been too much for me and I kept crying for days after. My young cousins watch it too and it wouldn't actually be apt to let them see such a brutal killing! While I want no alteration in the graphic depiction; SP should issue a certain disclaimer!

I am thinking it will be too traumatic for me
I want to rely on the written update

I hope they don't exaggerate it like stretch it for 3 episodes and repeat the crying sounds and the sword piecing flesh sounds...

I wanted more romantic scenes between Uttara and Abhi
Or bonding between Arjuna and Abhi

And friendly stuff with Krishna
But alas!

For mere mortals with a weak heart like mine I find it very traumatic and him being a martyr is special, Subhadra and Arjuna are indeed strong hearted parents
