I knew that the truck driver died so that the truth doesnt come out easily. Dev thinks about all the people who would want to kill him. Since they had been called telling a clue about Payal's case he thinks of all the high profile individuals involved in it.

Poor fellow still doesnt think his brother is capable of killing him , instead his suspicion lands at the door step of Karan's father who he knows to be a minister.

I had expected it that Dev is still naive to think about the murderous intention in his family and his suspicion would only fall outside especially when such a high profile person was available outside.

You are right shruthi...Dev's suspicion towards karan nd his dad was kinda predictable. For a moment he did doubt Shaurya nd I was like "yes, you got it" but again, he nd his bade bhaiya's generosity made him brush away his doubt on Shaurya.

I dont like it ya...urrgh

I'm really happy to see Dev thinking smartly. He proved that he is a "Goenka" and he considers every aspect of his mission. I think Durga needs to clear her misunderstanding soon because Dev's help & support will move her pan further.
