I dunno... doesn't seem like so... coz navins parents tell raj when he visits them to verify naina's identity. her parents tell him that he didn't visit them when they were burning Navin's body ...

they positively identified navin's body and bought it. so there must be no chance of any1 switching it. except though anyone went through extensive facial surgery and agreed to take navin's place on the death bed.

Except that in D2 it was all a front to get the cops off Mr. A's back but yeh Raj killed Navin out of mercy as he would have been hung for high treason anyway but this way he saved him the shame.
