Together they headed towards the exit. Ishita enquired, "Kaisa laga?", "Kya", he asked confused. "Metro!?" she said in an obvious tone.

"Aise poonch rahi ho jaise main kal hi paida huwa hoon. I have travelled before this too" he taunted. "Nakhre toh aise kar rahe the jaise..." she said, miffed, and gave a I-don't-believe-this-man look .

Raman had a smirk on his face and enjoyed the breezy weather. He felt light, all tensions vanished in this moment for him, he wondered what is the cause behind, his heart prompted being with her, while his mind, or rather ego, preferred to believe the weather to be the reason.

The mall was across the road. Raman at once took her palm in his and crossed the road safely.

"Hey I am not a kid! I can cross the road on my own"

"Yeah but if you get hit by some vehicle, whose gonna carry you...have you seen yourself...becoming plump day by day...even your amma is fitter than you..."

Ishita's expressions turned from irritated to sad, Raman visibly noticed it, spanked himself in his mind for going overboard with his words.

"Hey sorry, I was just joking, on a serious note you are looking good, and I was behaving as a gentleman."

"Oh really, first learn to talk in a gentle manner!"

"Ok, just a minute..." He called Mihir to ask their exact location.

Ishita thought looking at him, "He complimented me...yeah ...but he's always pulling my leg...I need to get back at him."

They took the elevator.

She asked softly "Show ka time kya hai?", "Six" he stated. "Wow we have reached well before time it seems," teased Ishita stressing on the words.

By the time Raman could respond, elevator opened.

They all met. Ishita happily greeted jiju-akka and mihir-mihika with hugs. Raman greeted them with a shy smile. Ishita had just asked Raman to call mummyji to know about the happenings at home, when Mihika took her by her arm to buy some snacks.

Toshiji said sarcastically, "Oye Raman puttar, kya bataoon, yahan sab hi changa hai, ye kutte di puttar jo mere pair ke paas bhaitha hai" "Usko kutta mat bolo, muthu,muthu hai mera, Purinjudha !" Raman heard Amma speaking in the background and felt relieved that she's getting back to herself.

Mihika teased Ishita, "Kya baat hai... nowadays, making movie plans?" "Ishita confused asked, "What, I didn't know about this, I thought you both..." "Akka you didn't know, Raman jiju planned this for all of us. Ishita felt nice and her usual self prompted her to thank Raman for doing this.

She went to him with a smiling face and said, "Thank you, for this movie plan for all of us, I didn't, at all, expect it."

Raman was in his usual self, "Well I did this for a change, to make everyone happy, no need to thank. I'll be happy if that dog of yours runs away someday!"

"God you are unbelievable, you know what, I will be happy if someday Muthu jumps over you!"

Finally, they seated themselves, Mihir , Mihika, Bala, Vandita, Ishita , Raman.

"Truth or Dare ?" asked the girl.

"Dare" said the boy readily.

"Ok here's my purse, apply all the the make up, right here, right now..." ordered the girl.

The boy had to woo the girl, so took up the dare in a sporty way and entertained all with a Guthi act...

Bala- Vandita were having a good laugh...

Mihir-Mihika were busy with themselves...

"So Mihir I think I should also throw some dare for you ...let me see how can you woo me..better than the hero or not..."

"Don't you doubt my abilities...if you wish I can do something daring right here"...with this he tingles her...while Mihika spanked his hand...

Papa, Ishima is sad, what do we do? I have a plan.

Ishita enters the bedroom. She finds Raman lying down on bed and Ruhi doing something to him. "Ishima see I was playing parlour parlour with papa...he is looking so funny na with make up and ponies ..." Ruhi said.

"Oh God Ruhi! Papa will get angry...get down now," said Ishita worried.

"Papa is very happy see ",speaks Raman , he winks at her and flashes his 32 all out.

Ishita couldn't control her laughter and said, " Ok so papa is also playing this game."

"Yup, and you should join, Rama vs Ishima" and he hurled a pillow at her.

"C'mon Ishima you also attack," Ruhi hurled a pillow back from Ishima's side.

Ishita stood stunned to see all this. A pillow landed on her face.

"Mathangi ko lag gayi!" Raman exclaimed!

That was it. She attacked back at him. He was making funny faces when he got hit. Ruhi laughed and attacked at her papa until she got tired and ran away to have some water. Ishita came near him, opened those little ponies, ran her hand through his hair."Why are you doing all these?"

"To make you happy" he said

She wiped the lipstick off his lips with a napkin and said "Why? I am happy, you don't need to do this"

He looked into her eyes and spoke, "I don't need to do it, I want to do it, I want you happy, because I love you." He found her look down and pick up something.

"Raman I think the game is still on..." she said and hurled a squeaky toy at him.

By the time he realized whom the toy belongs to, Muthu came running and jumped on him and he fell on the bed.

"That's what makes me happy !!!" exclaimed Ishita.

Raman woke up with a jerk, his legs hung above the ground for that moment, his eyes pained due to the lights, he heard the hustle around growing. Interval just started.

Ishita was telling him something," Akka and I am going out to talk to the kids, do you need anything ? "He had processed just the last half it, and he shook his head for a no.

He realised he was sleeping and dreamt all that. He closes his eyes and tries to remember but its all now vanishing from his mind since he is awakened. He was undoubtedly tired, managing meetings and workload, following up the accident case with the evidences got, and then even planning for this outing. But amidst such busy day, he was at peace now, he was having a strange kind of content feeling, being with family, making efforts to make them happy.

"Ok Rooh, don't play anymore, you'll get exhausted, now pass the phone to Shravu" Ishita spoke on her mobile.

"Akka here, you take, , Shravu is on the line..." Ishita passed on her mobile to Vandita.

"Hey Raman, howz life? " said Bala, taking the seat beside him.

"Good" He said.

Ishita saw a familiar face walk towards her, "Hey Ishita, remember me?"

"OMG Neha? You look so different." Said Ishita, quite elated.

"Yeah, its been long long time huh? And they both hugged.

"And Ishita still lectures you?" asked Bala smilingly.

"Yes that can never change I guess. But yeah I get to know what she's gonna speak about so kinda avert it in my way. These days she's turning like an open book...keeps talking often", he said.

"Oh that's good to know" Bala said and patted his back.

The interval ended. Bala took his seat back and Ishita hers.

Raman noticed she looked grim. Talking to her didn't seem possible with the loud surrounding sound. He tried to focus on the movie, but remembers he only watched till that truth dare scene and now he was unable to get anything.

After sometime, he glanced at Ishita. He observed tears rolling down her eyes. Yes she was crying. Silently, with a straight face. He looked around if the scenes were emotional enough to make people cry, but it wasn't so. So why was she crying.

A part of the talk she just had with her friend was not letting her mind rest.

"I guess we are meeting after college for the first time now. So how come you're in Delhi? "

"Vacation time you see... Vivek's there too...we finally married last year.

"Congrats Neha...I am so glad to know...I totally remember how you both were never serious with each other...but you were the best buddies right...

"Exactly Ishita, our parents were so worried about us...I think everything has a right time...we have been best buddies always but honestly it has been recently that we realised that we are made for each other. Anyways, how's your Mr. Perfect?"

"It has been quite some time we've parted our ways... "

"Oh really sorry I didn't know...simply not in touch with anyone here...that's why"

She felt bad that something she had believed to be perfect had turned out to be so imperfect. If she hadn't been so stupid, so blind in love, maybe she could have skipped that heartbreak. Some other part of her mind said, maybe it was needed to change her definition of perfect. But what is perfect then, she couldn't define yet. At this moment she just wanted to make her heart lighter, without letting anyone know about it.

He observed her crying, despite her trying to hide it. He suddenly realised maybe he doesn't know her. His belief that she seems like an open book looked hollow now. Someone who is responsible to bring so much calmness to his life was herself not calm. He was glad he sensed it now. Atleast he now knows which part of this book to discover...

I really liked the part where Raman observed Ishita crying and he was disturbed by it. It's made him realise that may be he doesn't know her fully and I'm looking forward to see just how he goes about finding out why Ishita is disturbed.
