I dont know how many of you agree with me. Many times I have switched serials when I couldnt stand the male leads dumb or if I see a female lead doormat.

I mean I have always fet that it is an insult to a woman to show her a door mat , at the same time I have felt it to be an insult to be a man to show them dumb. I mean men do have common sense. Atleast the ones I have come across in real life in any form father, brother, husband, friend, colleagues I have not seen them dumb.

Here we are seeing 2 young men being compeltely fooled by a lady. Comon agree Shaurya is bad, he is obsessed with Durga but the guy who keeps bet, walks cool, blackmails his dad, fakes tears and is manipulative so dumb that he cannot understand what the lady is upto.

Then Dev suppose to be intelligent. He gets vibes Durga is a mask, get vibes from Rajnath enough to warn his friend, is perceptive enough to get the vibes of Nithya in Durga is not perceptive to understand the fact that Durga is laying a bait for him. Did he blindly believe whatever she told. Doesnt he feel anything odd about the whole affair. I hope they show something today from Dev's perspective, his musings on her behaviour. Else he is also dumb.

Please CVs end this funda fast. I simply cant stand 2 guys dumb and a lady who is playing silly tricks thinks herself to be smart.

You need not show a man dumb to show a woman smarter.

I skipped today's episode after reading some posts here, guess I didn't miss much.

Agreed, our shows can't seem to balance thing, either the men are dumb or the women are doormat there is no in between it seems.

Anyway I don't know about Dev but for Shourya he is blinded by Durga's beauty and his lust for her. Also his determation to bed her by hook or crook so he may be ignoring all the signals.

Let's hope things change soon.

I agree with you. Yesteryday whatever Durga did anyone can easily guess what's her real intention. I don't expect Shaurya to be smart since for him he doesn't see anything beyond his so called love-cum-lust. He even blackmailed his father so that he can stay closer to Durga. But he forgets his own weakness (even Rajnath mentioned), and has no idea what can his opponent do. So no expectations from him. But Dev? he should have guessed that Durga is upto something and her so-called thank you session is fake. Dev is mature, knows how to handle the devils of his family, smartly trying to dig info about what happened to Nitya and Payal. But then when it came to a simple judgement(Durga's fake care) he failed to understand? That's something I don't understand.

@Abray her trick yesterday was so silly that even a obsessed Shaurya should easily guess😆😆. I mean dont think he is that dumb especially since he had played the same trick on Durga. To avoid her during meetings

I think Shaurya is obsessed with the fact that no-one-dare-snatch-his-lady-away-from-him. 😆.

Oh and as for your headline, someone has to be dumb or else how will the main lead/villain play games? In other shows, the antagonist keeps on troubling and playing games and commits crime but no one gets a vibe🥱. This is so common and irritating 🤢. And that's one of the main reasons why TRPs dip down. 🥱

Well Shaurya cannot think anything beyond Durga and Dev's brain do some exercise but after few minutes all brain cells start chanting nitya-diary, nitya diary...and durga very well knows this and maximizing...but must admit her over-smartness is soon going to land her in trouble (s).

Why are they making men so dumb? Dev can sense Nitya but not see designs of Durga?

Why does he have to be a duffer?

They should give fair representation to all characters than show them as fish easily caught kn net thrown by Durga!

Both the guys are dumb and fall in her trap...but at the same time all her traps never seem to work. Like in today's episode she thinks she is so smart and tried to create a rift between the brothers but Skashi already predicted that. Like if Durga is the dominant character in the show than she needs to have some sort of edge above everyone else. It does not seem at all like she has worked 2 years to create a plan to ruin them...its all done so obviously than any fool can predict she is upto no good.

In a smart plan she would be ruining the Goenka's and never have anyone suspect its her. Instead, everytime she does something or even thinks about doing it Shakshi Predicts it. And funny thing is...Shakshi can predict everything Durga has done or might do when she hardly knows her...but cannot predict her husband is having an affair with her own best friend???

In our tv serials either the characters are doormats or showed prominent but even Durga is not very prominent. Dev's mom lives in the same house and these horrid goenka's make plans to destroy people and talk bad about everyone out in the living in the open but she never seems to know...she seriously can't be that clueless? Then, again maybe Dev get's his dumbness from his mom. But that doesn't explain Shaurya's dumbness being son of two major players. Why can't there be one decent show that is interesting???? I mean if you are going to steal the concept, characters = from an American Show at least follow in it's path as that is an excellent show. The Creative team is totally destroying the plot and importance of the lead Character.
