Chapter 10

Jalal POV

The sun's rays disturb my sleep, with irrataion I get up from my bed my eyes still shut the light overrules it. My head is aching I open my eye while squinting. I observe where I am why am I in jodha's room. Oh crap I hope I didn't do anything stupid um but already have I look around her bedroom no sign of her. I can feel a heavy mark on my cheeks I quickly get out the bed. Waiting to receive what's coming to me . I tight slap on my face perfect way to start the day just my luck I thought. I hesitantly open the door. Again there she way lying on the floor, my heart stops beating I run towards her embrace her into my arms I tap her cheeks. But no response I feel the same weakness I felt when I saw her in the animal trap.

Jalal jodha ...jodha can you hear me???

I breathe heavily I pick her up and place her in the bed it's then I notice , the bruise on her ankle. I observe it for a few seconds not knowing what to do. I quickly phone the doctor I waited impatiently held her hand as tight. The doctor finally arrives I quickly guide him to the bedroom. He does a few checks on her ankle. He puts a syringe needle in her arm and a bit above her ankle. He asks me to come out to talk so we don't disturb her.

Doctor: sir koi baat nahi I gave her some prescription drugs she will be back in conscious in a few mintues. Exactly what happen how did she bruise her ankle.

I don't even know what happen last night how I got here , but I hate myself for being so careless. It's all my fault

Jalal: um wo I don't know to be honest.

Doctor: oh that's okay just make sure your wife , doesn't pressurise her ankle.

Wife ??? Kash I hoped to be at least someone she liked , I frown I nod and thank him.

Doctor : and sir make sure you bring your wife to a check up on Saturday morning

This wife thing makes me happy , but at same time it makes me sad this is not the truth I nod again. I shut the door and rush back to jodha who looked much better. I lift her and hand kiss on the back of her palm, maybe when she wakes up she doesn't want to see me. Wait I should the call the group. I quickly grab my phone and dial Abdul's number.

It rang for a few seconds and the. Finally picked up.

Abdul: hello

Jalal: hey Abdul , um actually wo kya hai KI

Abdul: thanks for ditching us you JERK!!

Jalal: what are you talking about??

Abdul: you left us In The night club without any transportation , we looked as if we were the lost sheep or something and we roamed around the place no sign of you or jodha , thank goodness to surya he dropped us home.

Jalal: dude I wasn't even in my senses , I barely knw I what happened last night

Abdul: you better reason for it jerk

Jalal: I am telling the truth I barely no how I need up in jodha's room

Abdul: um why da hell r u in her house??

Jalal: don't know , so don't ask speaking for her shut the hell up for a few minutes . Abdul jodha she hit her ankle and she became unconscious she was lying on the floor when I found her the doctor came did some check ups on her. And now she is okay um am thinking she probably doesn't want to see me as the first person. So please come here as quickly as you can okay.

Abdul: WHAAATTT!! OMG yea we will be there in a 15 mins

Jalal: okay thanx bye

Abdul: bye

I look back at Jodha , who seems to be in peace but I know that's gonna change when she sees me, I sat there beside her trying to think about what happened just then random memories played there was me and I was telling something to Jodha and she was crying uncontrollably. Great I made her cry again is that the only thing I know to do with her make her cry , sad and make her go through the Same thing over and over again. Then I can remember wait kissing her OMG she is going to kill me I step back , I can't let that happen am too young to die I Hear a rythym less knock on the door I sprint towards my saviours and open the door all I see is their eyes welling up with tears.

Moti: jalal jodha kaise hai ??

Jalal: better

They all go towards jodha who is awake now, just staring at the celling, all of them run towards her but for some reason her eyes are fixed on me.

Salima: feeling better princess??

Jodha: much better after seeing you guys

Akshay: I look good don't i ??

Moti: you are Never going to stop praising your self are you??

Akshay: it's the TRUTH

Moti: oookaaay anyways , let's all yell at jalal for leaving us in the nightclub they all turn to him.

Jalal: it wasn't me atleast I hope it wasn't me I try to recall that night about me leaving but none of it came.

Jodha: it was me

They all turn to me

Abdul: SAY WHAT??

Jodha: it was me am your culprit

Salima: you better have a reason for it

Jodha: yes I do she takes a deep breathe JALAL WAS DRUNK AT IT WAS ALL HIS FAULT WE HAD TO COME HERE WITHOUT YOU GUYS she said it so fast with sarcasm

This was as if it is the same old Jodha again, it felt good to have here even if she was just acting for her friends to be happy so I decide to have a argument which says am innocent

Jalal: hey it want my fault kind of but mostly the bartender he kept asking me to try different drinks I was his test monkey.

Akshay: seriously dude test monkey??

We all looked at him as he said the word test monkey , what was five we thought akshay was going to say some thing mature.

Akshay: I hate you for not inviting me , we could have the perfect test monkeys. He said it with all seriousness no sarcasm.

We all stared laughing at his childishness he looked at us with a confused looks on his face , he looked at us as if there was something wrong with us.

Akshay : why is everybody laughing??

Abdul: seriously dude you wanted to be a test monkey what you five??

Akshay: unlike some people, Abdul I take my job very seriously and with he stomps out of the room dramatically. After that he pops his head back in

Akshay: was that like super dramatic guys??

We again can't stop laughing , I love seeing jodha not dull anymore

Salima: um sure yea that was so dramatic darling

Akshay: yay! Celebration I will make you guys something to eat especially for our princess jodha.

Abdul: what no you are going to set her kitchen on fire!!

Akshay: that was back in the day

Abdul: we are taking two days ago

Akshay: whatever

Jalal: we will make it you be my head chef Kush??

Akshay: fine

Jodha tries to sit up ,I rush over her and support her back she looks at me with no anger just thankfulness he has her hand wrapped around my neck as I support her Wait she thanks me ?Did she hit her head while she fell over or some thing ?? Anyways I smile back at her and goes towards the kitchen leaving the girls talk I have one more glance over at jodha that is laughing and has radiant glow on her face. Me , Abdul and akshay stare at the kitchen trying to figure out what to do? There is an awkward silence between us

Jalal: akshay u r the head chef lead us bro what we do??

Akshay: ummm hold on give me some time to think

We all say: youtube

Abdul takes out his phone , and types in "how to operate in kitchen"

Jalal: okay this is ridiculous how hard can it possibly be?

Abdul: your right um let's look for ingredients , that we can use to cook some thing

Jalal: now we are getting somewhere

We search the kitchen cupboards , the fridge. We all have something that we picked up on the way.

Jalal: okay what did you guys pick up??

Abdul: I have a sweet masala sauce can

Jalal: I have pasta

Akshay: I have an eggplant

Me and Abdul stare at our strange friend

Abdul: I think we are going to stick with pasta dude

We all agreed and decided to make our own special " masala pasta "???

We boiled the pasta , we just all stood there watching the deep pan boil , finally after 17 mins it's boiled up the pasta , and we mixed it with the sauce now it looks nice. We all stood there proud of ourselves .

Akshay: it's so beautiful

Abdul: it is

We don't know how long we admired our cooking which lasted less that 20 minutes , just smelling the scent then we realise the girls are standing In front of us staring at us.as if there is something wrong with us

Jalal: what?

Jodha: words cannot express

The girls laugh and I can't help but laugh too Is it just me or do I see a different jodha today, maybe when we go to the doctors check up I need her head checked up to coz I seriously thought she would be yelling , screaming and how can I forget slapping me.

Jalal: can't man not admire his cooking ?

Jodha: if admire is the word you were looking for

Moti: guys are you like I don't know attracted to your pasta in some way??

Abdul: what no

Akshay: guys whatever can we just eat am starving

We all sit down in the dinner table , I can't help my move towards the seat next to jodha apparently she doesn't seem to care much . The girls try the food their expression say they loved it.

Jodha: wow this is actually good

Moti: surprisingly

Salima: shockingly

Abdul: ah ha

As Everyone began to chat away , I felt a gentle tug on my shirt I turned around and surprised that jodha herself tugged my shirt.

Jodha: actually jalal hum kaal raath ko baat KARNE thi .

Yep i definitely did something stupid last night , oh god what did I do?!

Jalal: did I like do something stupid to you ?? ( of course you did jalal but still I actually can't believe I kissed I can feel it in lips )

Jodha: um not exactly

Jalal: did I do something to hurt you ?

Jodha: uh no

Jalal: did I do something to

Jodha: just shut up for second

Jodha: I was wondering if you could continue on from what you were talking to me about last night

Oh what did I say last night I can't seem to remember anything , I hate that bartender now.

Jalal: um jodha exactly what did I say last night??

I look at jodha her eyes looked a bit hurt from my question but also irritation .

Jodha: don't remember anything ??

Jalal: um I kinda do

Jodha: like?

Jalal: um I scratch the back of my neck : me kissing your beautiful lips

She blushes immediately and starts smiling shyly and turns her face ways quickly , from me and continue eating.

Jodha POV

OMG jodha stop blushing , literally huh out of all the things that happend he remembers that jalal tum bhi nah . Wait maybe he just blurted out some random things no jodha think like that , I know he was telling the truth from his eyes. I turn away from him and focus On My food.

Akshay: that surya dude is pretty awesome

Jodha: you met surya??

Akshay: yea he was the one who dropped us home

Jodha: aw how nice I will call him soon

Moti: hey invite him to hang out with us jodha

As I nod I see jalal glaring at moti in anger and irritation, whats wrong with jalal when ever someone talks about him he always seems to get irritated and angry.

Jodha: I forgot ask how do you surya jalal??

Jalal snaps out of his glare and looks at me with all care.

Jalal: oh um me and him we're close friends

if he is his friend why does he seem to hate him so much I nod

Salima: what's the plan guys??

Everybody just stopped and thought for a moment

Jalal: shimla rocking place yar he wears his killer smile and smirk

We all look at each other and before we know it we nod. And agree

Abdul: then it's settled we are going to SHIMLA!!!

Shimla what a beautiful place to go , that time I can ask jalal to say the reason behind the misunderstanding . I look over to jalal and we both smile at each other.
