Yesterday's episode was a let-down, and my brains flew off with the "toofan".
The harsh judgement - Needless to say I was really annoyed by this. Even during Ruqaiyya's MC track, Jodha was given 10 days to prove her innocence, while TM was directly sentenced to such a harsh statement. Somewhere, a doubt has been planted in audience' minds, is Jalaal partial to those related to him as they are let off easily for crimes more severe than a fake "rape". But, yes, my heart went out to TM for his quiet dignity. The entire segment was stupid and if this was Jalaal's tedhaness in disguise, well I am unimpressed, play angry birds Shahenshah and leave us in peace.
Irony - It was ironic that two of the most wafadaar people in Agra are in prison while the vile lot are out roaming, plotting. No wonder Kanha arranged a storm to awaken the sleeping brains.
Payback time ahead Maham - Maham's face clearly showed she was shocked that she realized she had put her foot on the landmine. Tch tch Maham, how could you let a paigham go?
Ruaqiyya - Her support for TM felt more out of her dislike for Jo-Shehnaaz duo than trust in TM, even if she was convinced that TM was part of a saazish, she did nothing to convince Jalaal to think well before deciding on the matter. Meh.
The storm - The storm symbolised Jalaal's inner turmoil, and Kanha's sanket for Jo. But, what you feel is because of your conscience not the new-found dil. And please, stop saying that dialogue, it chafes my ears, and to be true, you were always a righteous king even before Jo found your dil from yellow pages, in fact of late you seem to have lost your dimaag. Please, do something about it.
TM's wife's sermon - It was good because of its subtlety. I would have been confounded if elegant TM would have had a shrew for a wife. I really loved her words, that she knew and trusted her husband. 👏
Precap - I was disappointed. Just one slap? I would have planted at least a baker's dozen. There are some pretty nasty things Shehnaaz has done under the guise of her pagalpan, apart from the current scenario, she also tried to harm Rahim.
