I feel Raman deserves a chance here... We gave Ishita one didn't we? ( well some of us did ) when she failed to tell Raman about Parmeets pervertness (don't know if that's even a word!). She was stunned and struck by the things that happened... a person she thought was good turned bad. In case of Raman... He does not trust Shagun we all know, but he never thought she ( or Adi or...??? ) would ever harm his relatives... That much he was sure about Shagun... But after what he came to know destroyed even this... Plus his son and Shagun begged him not to tell anyone give them a chance! He is not concerned about Shaguns well being but about Adi's future. Of course Raman will be in two minds and confused about his next step! He does not want to hurt Ishita nor his son...

I too see the reality of Raman's character and so I fail to understand so much hatred against his character..he is not perfect but his imperfections is what made us fall for this guy..his character has always been very emotional..Shagun's betrayal made him bitter but he is still that sensitive person who hid behind the rude exterior to protect his feelings..however now his rough exterior has more or less gone thanks to Ishita..and his love for Adi and the protectiveness he feels towards him is very much there..we see how much crap he takes from Adi inspite of his pathetic behaviour and Shagun has very smartly used his weakness to shield herself..Its not like Raman is doing this happily..he is forced by circumstances and in real life it is not so easy to take the high road always when you have to choose between your loved ones..Even the thought of losing Shagun made Adi so paranoid and Raman saw his condition firsthand..how could a father let his son loose himself completely if it is in his hands to protect him..

Excellent post. Can't write posts this weekend but you hit the highlights. Sentimentality and being people pleaser or trying to measure up to people's expectations can weigh a person down and create all kinds of problems in life. Add fears to the mix and it makes it worse.

Ur post completely makes sense mallika...rkb is the most real character on Indian tv..we cn relate him with real life situations, I too hv faith in him,yes I truly agree to u, we need to gv him space to come out of his dilemma, n when he will come to know the truth about the lie of shagun, then I think rkb will not b more weak, he would never trust shagun, plus shagun will no more b able to use adi to break Raman, from then onwards Raman might start thinking things more practically to deal with such type of situations.. So ths heartbreak of Raman will make him more stronger than b4 n if ishra separation too coming up then tht too will make ishra more stronger n no-one will b able to separate them anymore, it will take ishra relation to tht level where thy will trust each other more than anyone else! Once again very meaningful post mallika loved it! 👏 😃

Awesome yaar... Since all that matters to us is Ishra, we are not able to see the other side... But, this is the best track till date in YHM where Raman is facing the worst turmoil of his life...
