I don't know about you ladies, but mera next 2 weeks ki sab evening plans cancelled hai. Mein ready hu for at LEAST two weeks of intense Rangrasiya and while I know the CVs are famous for rushing to end every single track, the fact remains--- I have had to deal with wooden Mala for two entire weeks. So now I want Rudra's intense and completely crazed defense of his Paro for at least two weeks BEFORE any honeymoon track starts. But I am not going to state the obvious, about how romantic it will be to see a return to the defensive Rudra/Jallad and vulnerable, soft Paro/Bride. That is obvious.
Here is what, for me, gives this track some teeth---aside from Major Saab's intensity---
(1) Rudra -- Maithli
Why are we not talking about this? At this point in time, Rudra will need an ally inside the Haveli since the danger has literally reached inside his home. He will be investigating, Aman will be busy, and he cannot stick to Paro like glue. Also, aside from Maithli, he is not currently close enough to the others to trust with the single most important thing in his world---Paro. His father, mother, and Danveer might be informed about danger. But he wont count on them to watch over his Paro like he would Maithli.
Rudra knows Maithli to be both brave, intelligent, and someone Paro listens to. So get ready, Baisas, for some Devar-Bhabi jassosing and even, potentially, of them developing a truly close bond. This last development is crucial, because only if Maithli guards Rudra's suhaagan now will he feel bound to intervene later, when Maithli's suhaag is in jeopardy. The circle of him not stepping up for her regarding the adoption saga will close. Upto this point, Rudra has liked Maithli, respected her (for her assistance with Paro) and turned to her for Paro related matters.
But Paro's safety? That is a HUGE trust for Rudra to place on anyone. So, now if she shows her love by defending her, Maithli will have guaranteed herself Rudra Pratap Ranawat's eternal support and gratitude. And this man does not forgive an insult, or forget a debt. Its good to have this track before the Samrat Second Marriage Nonsense.
(2) Rudra-Mala
I am almost 100% sure this new entry, this dangerous stalker had nothing to do with Tejawat. For a psychopath, Tejawat has always been logical. He wont go for subtle terror when a crude hammer will do. Tejawat needs Paro dead, as the only living eye-witness to his confession, or he needs Paro kidnapped, so he can coerce other proof out of Rudra. Why would he waste his time frightening Paro, and playing psychological mind-games with Rudra, by threatening his wife? He does not have anyone working for him who is capable of such subtle games, either---his minions are all simple thugs.
This stalking, right into Rudra's home-this is personal, and no matter what Tejawat feels personally for Major Saab, first and foremost, he is a survivor. He needs his terrorism case withdrawn, and he does not need a completely berserk Rudra to come for his throat. And NO ONE can help Rudra understand Tejawat's motives better than Mala here. Mala has not been interrogated yet (a HUGE plot hole for me) but now we have a chance of seeing her actively assist her son. He will have to as a BSD man use his resource, and this will get them to talk about Mala's intimate relationship with Rudra's enemy.
There is great potential here, for mother-son healing, and of course, for Mala to goddamn DO something for her son, after all these years---even if it is just to stop him from wasting time on Tejawat and look elsewhere for Paro's stalker. Mala, and Rudra with a concrete, real reason behind their talk, without Paro being "helpful" all over the place. And Mala and Rudra, speaking because of Paro, their common love, the one person they both want to protect. All this, with Rudra WANTING to talk to Mala, Mala needing to open up to Rudra- Excellent TV!
And finally Baisas, I truly don't think this track has anything to do with either Mohini or Laila. Mohini has no motive here, at the moment. She is pleased with Paro's treatment of Mala. She is busy cooking up a new plot against Maithli. She is not a threat. With Laila, I think the timing is off. She is in a holding pattern, still. She has one plan going, with Mala's gratitude towards her. Laila is still holding out for her trick with Mala to have some softening on Rudra. Also, she is not so stupid that she will repeat the same thing she tried before (poison/damaging Paro's beauty) with Rudra being aware of it.
Laila may hate Paro, but she is clever-- During the Haldi, she was jealous, and did not know to what extent Rudra had already lost his heart to Paro. But now, she knows full well that she would be half dead in a cell somewhere if Rudra suspected her (as he automatically would) for any damage to his wife. Her only chaal left, right now, is Sumer (if she is a fool and thinks proximity to Rudra will get him back) or Tejawat (if she has given up on winning Rudra, and now just wants to hurt him). I have to say, I don't see her giving up Rudra so soon.
BTW-- I don't know why its not more poignant for us and for Rudra, that she did after all, rescue his mother. Or that she did not have to do any of this in her self interest, (she had the opportunity of stealing Paro for Tejawat, as per his original offer) and she got Rudra's mom out anyway. She is evil, sure. But her weakness for Rudra does exist, where she does not want to see him hurting. That element of their relationship got brushed under the carpet way too quickly for me. It makes Rudra callous, frankly. After all, Laila did give him 8 years (YEARS!) of companionship, the best of herself, her loyalty and even her service as an informant---for nothing more than his physical love, and their real friendship.
This stalker, on the other hand, has a personal bent to his hatred for Paro, the slow terrorizing, the acid attack. Where will either Laila OR Mohini get such a dedicated evil doer, who clearly has some kind of personal vendetta here? Its not them. But if Rudra turns to accuse them, we should get some plot movement where Mohini is terrified of doing any attacks on Paro ever again----and where Laila is finally freed from her love of Rudra, and turns fully evil.
So who IS the Stalker?
I don't see why Mala's/Tejawat's long lost son (all of 15 years old, for god's sake) is being mentioned here. I don't see where we will get a new villain with a connection to Rudra AND Paro who has suddenly shown up after a good 4 months to have such a personal hatred for them both. If this is Tejawat's first son, abandoned because of Mala, why does he hate PARO? He knows much more about Paro/Rudra than he should even if he is somehow Tejawat's son here to defend his dad. There is only one man I can think of, who will both need Paro's fear and be insane enough to court Rudra's fury. So---my prediction is---Varun! Paro's first husband, who was shot by Paro's second suhaag. Who has enough reason to hate Paro, and enough guts to stand upto Rudra. I know I know...he got shot. But people (especially Hindi Serial Villains) do survive point blank shots to the head, you know...
EDIT: TURNS OUT THE STALKER IS NOT VARUN, THOUGH HE STILL COLD BE FROM VARUN'S FAMILY. TOO BAD, BAISAS, I WAS READY FOR THIS TWIST--BUT THE STALKER IS CUTE, NAA? đ
