I don't care what people say and I know there won't be many or any here who will agree with me.

But for me, RHTDM is the best ever Romantic film. I love everything about that film - songs, characters, setting, New Zealnd, BG Score.

I have seen it for app. 80 times and its Tamil version Minnale for 15 times even though I don't know a single word in Tamil.

Interestingly, most of people around me consider it better than any other Bollywood romantic film.

There was a film in Telugu called Nuvvu Vasthanante Nenoddantana (it had a ghastly remake in Hindi too) which was heavily inspired by MPK and worked really well at the box office.

MPK made in that way with the 'right' casting would create wonders even today. Its only the setting and presentation that changes, otherwise if you have an album like MPK and the perfect pair at the center of it all, there is no way a film with such sweeping emotions like MPK will fail, no matter when one makes it.
