Karan Aujla's Mumbai concert called 'WORST EVER', fans fainting and violent fights surface

Singer Karan Aujla is currently touring India with his P Pop Culture World Tour, drawing massive crowds and social media buzz. After kicking off with an electrifying night in Delhi, the singer moved on to Mumbai and Pune, continuing the high energy momentum.

But while Delhi and Pune fans largely celebrated the experience, the Mumbai leg has turned into an unexpected controversy, with several attendees calling it the “worst concert ever.”

Mumbai Concert Draws Heavy Criticism

Karan performed in Mumbai on March 3 during Holi celebrations. What was meant to be a festive daytime spectacle reportedly left many in the audience frustrated and disappointed.

Soon after the show, social media was flooded with complaints about poor event management. Several attendees claimed that sprinklers meant to provide relief from the scorching heat were available only in the Fan Zone section. Those in VIP and General areas allegedly had no such arrangements despite paying higher ticket prices.

Videos circulating online show visibly exhausted concertgoers. Some claimed there were long queues for drinking water and insufficient shade. A few posts even mentioned people fainting and suffering heat related issues during the afternoon show.

One attendee criticised the setup, saying she could barely see Karan perform because there were no large screens and the stage felt too distant, even from the VIP section.

Another disappointed fan compared the production to a school function, writing that expectations were set at Delhi level but what they got felt like an “annual day stage setup,” questioning why they attended at all.

A third viral clip showed people sitting on the ground surrounded by empty water bottles, with the caption asking, “did I really just spend 5k for this?”

Yet another attendee claimed she paid 6k for what she described as the worst possible management, stating she fainted thrice and had to sip ORS constantly due to lack of proper food and water arrangements.

Karan Aujla Responds Indirectly

Interestingly, Karan did not issue a direct statement addressing the allegations. However, after wrapping up his Pune show the same day, he shared an Instagram story that many saw as an indirect response.

Posting a photo of himself standing in front of a private plane, he wrote, “Bombay, I think we need to add a night concert. Team Innovation, y’all coming back stronger or what???”

While he did not specify dates or venues, the message clearly hinted at a possible second Mumbai show. The post quickly gained traction, with fans debating whether this was damage control or a genuine attempt to give the city a better experience.

Pune Show Also Sees Chaos

Ironically, even the Pune concert was not entirely free of trouble. Reports and clips from the venue showed a violent altercation breaking out among a few attendees. Punches and kicks were exchanged, creating brief chaos before the situation was brought under control.

Despite the fight, many fans in Pune seemed satisfied with the overall experience, and the controversy did not overshadow the event the way Mumbai backlash did.

Tour Continues Across India

Karan Aujla launched the India leg of his tour on February 28 and still has a packed schedule ahead. After Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune, he is set to perform in Chandigarh on March 14, followed by Indore on March 21 and Bengaluru on March 29.

The tour will then move to Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Lucknow before concluding in Ludhiana on April 12.

With multiple cities left on the calendar, expectations are now higher than ever. Fans in upcoming locations will be watching closely to see whether event management improves and whether the singer addresses the concerns more directly.

For now, the Mumbai controversy has added an unexpected twist to what was supposed to be a celebratory tour run. Whether the hinted night concert materialises remains to be seen, but one thing is clear. All eyes are now on the next show.
