Hi Everyone,

I read in one magzine that all PRC jewellery has been designed keeping in mind the old & new both designs coz Sagars didn't want to show the old types of Maharanis & Rajkumaris but they wanted to give the lead actors a fresh & different look.

Actually, in PRC's era, girls/women used to tie their hair and put a big round Tika i.e. Bindiya on her head. They were not allowed to show their face to any stranger or even elderly people in house. It was one of the customs of Rajasthan side and especially queens & princess coz they were from Royal family.

But to be different in the serial, Sagars decided that Mugdha (younger Sanyo) will keep her hair open with a beautiful hanging ornament along with big big Bindiyas in her hair which would match with her outfit. (I must say it was a wise decision, as mugdha looks awsome in this jewellery. Don't u think so friends...😊) By the way, plz tell me if any one knows from where can we buy the kind of hanging she wears in her hair..... I think its something like what Kashmiri girls wear after their marriage .... correct me if i m wrong)

back to topic....

As per the magzine, Mugdha's jewellery in PRC is very heavy & costly though its not of gold. No, doubt she looks gorgeous in that but poor sweet, cute, delicate Mugdha, I wonder .... how she is managing to wear such a heavy jewellery with open hair in this HOT summer season.

God............... save our Mugdha & not to forget ....adorable Rajat (he also manages so many stunts in the black fully covered dress in such a HOT season)

U both are great ...............😊

Lots of luv for Raj & Mugs

( I hope you are not bored after reading the above.... If yes... sorry. If no, thanks for reading it.)

hats off to her yaar..........

Yup,she IS VERY PRETTY & DELICATE!!! i I read that they wanted to show the costumes & jewellery as per modern times...So that, ppl could relate to it...Ya,Maharanis' & Rajkumaris' were NOT allowed to show their faces & go out much cuz they were of Royal standing....It was NOT actually,a Rajasthani tradition BUT a RAJPUT tradition...Looking at her jewellery,I didn't think that it would be costly...Though,it was a VERY WISE descion as per the Sagars' to make Mughda leave her hair open; cuz she looks beautiful!!! 😊😊😊

Hi...No doubt the new styled get up suits her ,she looks beautiful .

Coming to the jewellery i am not too sure if the hair thing is a very kashmiri tradition aswell, but usually kashmiris wear that as an earpiece...to check what i mean is ,you could notice what the mother of the serial "mayka "wears...anyway no further mention of other serials....coming back to Mugdha ,she looks ravishing!!!

no guys.. rajput women covering their head... that tradition came after prc's time... actually during prc's time... women were respected a lot... they had more freedom... they also had to go to gurukul like boys..
examples of these can be found in pr raso.. prithvi had gone to the gurukul of shri Ram n sanyo had gone to the gurukul of madan brahmini..
also it is said clearly in prraso that prithvi sees sanyo n he descibes her to chand... so that means sanyo never covered her head.. also a poet had described her beauty...
the tradition of rajput women going out n covering their head came after the muslim conquest in India... those people used to kidnap any women they wanted n used to force them to marry n become muslims.. thats why the families did not leave their daughters outside...
also the tradition of marriage at night also started after muslim conquest...
it seems the muslim soldiers used to kidnap the brides during the marriage.. thats why people used to conduct marriage at night without telling many people...
