good job lakshmi!!wateva u said is rite..it is given in the raso..n one more thing..princesses of sanyo's age used to learn WARFARE,HORSE-RISNG AND POLITICS also in the gurukul..infact the other day i was talking to my mom..n i asked her .."wat was the queen's job in those days?"..my mom was like the queens were equally responsible as the king was for his kingdom..it seems in those days..all the probs of the ladies of the kigdom used to be solved by the queen..so actually acc to history..sanyo is SUPPOSED to know,warfare,politics,horse-rising etc.

Actually,Lakshmin_84 & Camella...Even though the Princesses & Queens were equally responsible for the kingdom & WERE made to go gurukuls..taught politics & all..RAJPUT WOMEN DID HAVE TO COVER THEIR HEADS & HAD A LOT OF RESTRICTIONS...THOUGH,THEY WERE GIVEN THINGS LIKE EDUCATIONAL GRANTS TO MAKE THEM FINANCIALLY STABLE & INDEPENDENT & HAD THE FREEDOM TO BULID UNVERSITIES,SCHOOLS & STUFF;; THEY STILL DID NOT HAVE A LOT OF FREEDOM ;TOUGH THEY WERE RESPECTED & TREATED VERYYY WELL BY THEIR HUSBANDS & CHILDREN...I KNOW ALL THIS...CUZ I AM A RAJPUT?!

no lime ice.... the situation of rajput women detoriated after the muslim conquest... during prc's time rajput women did not have to cover their faces... as i said it is given in pr raso... A poet saw sanyo near the ganga river... n then wrote a poem on her... n in that poem each n every minute detail of her face is given... it is there in pr raso.. her eye colour, shape.. her lips, her teeth.. everything.. if women were made to cover her face... then how cld this poet describe all this...
n it is said that when prithvi saw sanyo for the first time... he loved her eyes the most...
as i said... the muslim men used to forcefully marry rajput girls n make them muslims... that is when the rajput families stopped allowing the girls from going out.. it was for their protection.. had not india come under muslim rule.. women wld have had much more status n power ... but our bad luck.. these people came n then started treating women like the way talibans r treating women now..

I think lime ice is right. Even though the poet saw Sanyo near ganga river and then described her in poem or Prithvi saw her & loved her eyes, it was all because she was very young at that time.
Women used to cover their faces and not very young girls.
May be when the poet or Prithvi saw her she was very young because when PRC & Sanyo got married they were very young. So, when he or poet saw Sanyo, she must be even younger than the marriage time.

anyways.............. good that Sagar's are not covering Rajkumaris or Queens faces in the serial. otherwise, what we would have done?? 😆 😉
