One Amnesiac wala kostin

Just finished watching the episode and needed to rant Huh when did Rudra care for Paro's dignity and self respect always I remember the awful stuff he spouted while tying that dori string before and post the so called 8 vows ( I still maintain this relationship is not legal as in wedded although legal in cohabitation they share a house and have witnesses so Supreme Court will be amenable) and he behaved like she was out to seduce him and his virginity was at stake so tonight's lines while lovely for a romantic read FLH and she seriously needs a dose of reality which FLS n FLG will administer no worries there but the Grinch was gobsmacked at his hypocrisy and the writers amnesia and you know I would have found it perfectly understandable if they kept changing writers but here we have the same right from inception so wondering if there is a burn out or complacency or boredom take your pick

Glad the writers ( I can appreciate also ) touched upon the subject of alcoholic abuse and yes children inevitably are the collateral damage and they do grow up to be adult children alcoholics and if handled right by their own self realization and admittance they heal to accept the mistakes of their parents and learn to move on and even forgive their parents for not knowing better Mala and Dilsher behaved the way they did given their circumstance and limited knowledge Time and comprehension has diluted the bitterness and just like Paro lived in ignorance for 15 years over her father figures action so did Rudra for the last 15 years she faced betrayal then now him

Dilsher admitted how Paro made him feel differently and loved that proud smile on Mala's face when he credited her a mother's happiness about Paro she may have failed Rudra but she succeeded in Paro so all is not bleak

Once more forgive me ( starting to sound like a stuck record I know ) if I don't respond
I will understand if you don't wish to reply on my post since I don't seem to have the courtesy to respond back my defense I am stuck with work that is eating away my time and football is not making it any easy and I am supposed to be on a break this week yet working my Jimmy Choos Mantra is helping me get by although I would love to swig a double grey goose now and yet cannot resist letting out my rant

LOL, Swathi, trust you not to forget all those pesky inconvenient details 😆 Yes, Rudra was borderline abusive to Paro many times too ... verbally abusive only, so he gets off on a technicality ... 😛

You know that's exactly what I remembered while the scene was going on. And that he bargained her off to Sumer, even if it was to test her or scare her. So his oh-so-romantic dialogue didn't really do the wonders for me that I was expecting after reading about it online here.

Fairy I think the night of that 8 phera marriage major saab was totally drunk so I guess he didn't know what he was talking that's why neither him nor paro remember that night but after that he apologised to her but one thing abt rudra which I like is that he always stood up for paro in front of his family which never happened in another show and I am sure u know which one I am talking abt... what he did when he was trying to get rid of paro was very wrong but paro was pretty adamant at that time to get married to him so we can judge it like this as when a woman who is not interested in a man tries to insult him to get rid of him similarly rudra was doing the same, I am not condoning whatever rudra did with paro but now that he has accepted her whole heartedly he gives her the respect she deserves, here we have to remember that rudra is emotionally scarred hence he is very short tempered and his first defence is verbal lashing and it will take paro time and patience to change him.

i think the reason everyone is willing to forget about that is that they both know it was him being defensive and as someone mentioned, rudra always stood up for paro. also, paro has always maintained that she could read rudra enough to know that he was trying to hurt her to make her go away but without meaning anything he said

Hey sorry to jump in but I had a question here? I thought he remembered the night because when the next day Paro asked him I don't understand you he said I remembered everything about the night including the promises? and then when he gave her MS he again reiterated that he did gave those promises so he cannot not remember but then apologise about it though can he?
