I took it as "his actions" more than his words were respectful of her because she always said that she knew his mean words were bullcrap when he said them. From the time of Paro being Rudra's 'fiancee' until the time she found out Tejawat's true colors, she was his captive and he did those things to purposely scare a confession out of her, but he always protected her dignity through his actions. From the time she was accused of burning Dilsher until Rudra accepted her (including those 'characterless' things he said), she knew he was just venting and pushing her away. In Jaipur episodes, she verbalized it.
