Actually, I disagree on the bold text. One counter-example: Sonali who also participated in JDJ last year. She was amazing to watch and extremely confident on stage. However, she was never loud or brash. She was modest, and always accepted the judges' profuse praise with a smile and humility.

Akshat, I think, is definitely over-rated. Even last week, I really enjoy the song mix they danced to, but I didn't think the dance itself was extraordinary. Definitely not deserving of 40.

Sonali is a trained dancer. Infact I guess she started learning dancing even before she learnt her alphabets. It comes as a second nature to her. Its when she is asked to speak after her performance that u realise she is not so confident beyond her performance which generally happens with children. They are tend to be shy and timid in strange surroundings. Half the time she doesn't even know whts going on.

Akshat can't be compared to her. Alshat is more of an entertainer than a dancer. He not only dances on screen but also acts out certain parts. Later he also can talk to everyone without feeling shy or unsure about himself. Also he is a fat kid who is made fun of now and then. He takes in everything without getting upset. I feel like it comes from his idea that he is truly good. Which he is but I fear it will go in his head someday.

I think that's part of his "charm" and the fact that he's a kid: says things without thinking and has his slip ups. I don't know if it's arrogance, it's just being oblivious. Tact is a learned skill, and he's still little.

I don't think his dance is mind blowing- it is however entertaining, and I think that's how he gets the marks and that's defo how he's getting the votes.

I don't know about his health but whatever he's eating- moving like that he HAS to be burning it off.

Either way, I just think the Indian Entertainment industry (and other talent shows around the globe) really need to tone down the Children attempting to turn in to stars things. It's almost exploitative. I feel as if for the most part it's parents trying to hit the big times with their child's passion or pass time.

Next, it's going to be movies/shows etc. Because let's be honest, dance or not for this little guy and his family: it's about making a living some way, some how and that's via his brand that Color's has been a part of establishing for some time now.

This boy has got my attention from day1, he dances extra ordinarily, expressions are amazing But the way he behaves and talks is annoying as it's little too much for 9-10 year old. Bachcha hai bachche tarah raho yaar. I had seen a episode of India's got talent ones even a small girl did item song amazing expressions and judges read: Kirron Kher called her mother and told that make her dance as her age she dances good but she shouldn't do such type of dances.. I feel something like this should be conveyed to Akshat and judges.. He does over the top and it's annoying and irritating. Aur sab log usko chadhate hai The way he said bhad mein Jaye janta, chore bachche apne mummy papa ko bolo mujhe vote karne me liye, chota packet ufff

I just don't understand why they take kids as participants in a show like jhalak where environment and some dances are not appropriate for any children to watch. Saying this, I guess he shows an arrogant front to mask his age and the pressure of being a kid among so many adult contestants. It must be difficult for poor child to relate to many things.

I think Jhalak should consider doing jdj jr. with teen celebrity judges and kids contestants, it will be worth watching. They can alternate between adult jdj and jr jdj,one for summer, other for winter.

He's too annoying for my taste. Thank God there are people who think like me. Otherwise I was thinking I might have some problem because I am supposed to find him adorable!

Anyway he's a good performer for a kid. I won't call him a dancer, he's a performer. Dance is what his partner Vrushali does.

And he's way overscored. He should have gotten max 35-36 for the pagal act.
