Alright let's dedicate a topic on Fahad.
Hmm at the start of the show, I thought that this man was no less than a ping pong ball being played back and forth between his two wives. He didn't have a backbone or a mind of his own and would do whatever his mommy said.
After Aaliya got married to Zain, I started seeing seeing glimpse of his own thoughts. Like how he told Usman that he actually believes that Aaliya is good for Zain. After getting into that mess with Raghu Bhai, Fahad started walking on the right path thanks to Aaliya. He started to prove himself as a respectful human being. He started to see the true nature of his wives especially Shazia and he was no longer their chamcha that they could just boss around!
Even after Barkat came, he continued to remain this way. And he would put his wives in their place when they would do their nonsense- be it when they were pretending to going to the Dargah for Barkat or threatening them that he would kick both of them out if they separate his children. That proved to me that he's a good husband.
The property division fiasco again proved his vulnerable side..how he can be manipulated by his wives but in that scenario he had his own reasons for wanting a division and I honestly didn't blame at all. On the contrary, I agreed with him. But Fahad showed that like Zain he wasn't unreasonable either! When Zain decided to give Fahad his share and the reasons that he gave, it touched Fahad's heart. At that point, I felt that Fahad was a dutiful son, brother and father!
Now with the recent happenings. After Usman's accident, I loved how he was crying for his father with him mom. And I also loved how along with Zain , he immediately came to Aaliya's defense when Surraiya was insulting Aaliya in the hospital.
So all these was making me proud of him. Now he's back to disappointing me!
I understand that with Usman in that state, Fahad has a lot more on his plate now. But why in the world is he so bloody quiet when his wives (especially Shazia) are insulting Aaliya in front of the family like in Friday's episode. I understand that Usman being in this condition, he might be against Zubair being bailed but the accusations of "being" with Zubair that Shazia and Surraiya keeps putting on Aaliya..I was so damn sure that as a big brother Fahad would stand up for Aaliya.
Fahad is back to letting his wives run on the loose. And why is he so pessimistic about Usman recovering? One moment he's all agreeing with Zain that yes let's work together and make dad better and the next hes' like let's not keep any false hope. There's a difference between hoping and trying your best to make your dad better.
Usman blinked twice in a row when Zain was there but not when Fahad came. So what Usman doesn't want Fahad to know that he's getting better? Fahad was definitely working in the hotel that day and Usman did call him for help through the security camera in the lift.
So either Fahad is just disappointing me these days or he's the culprit!
