Sunny Deol made it in action era of 80s and is still one of best action heroes. One does not need to be lover boy to make it. No one expresses raw, unbridled rage like he does. He is a good actor.

He was accepted in bit of romance too. Betaab was successful and is basically a love story.

In the era when he came, he was able to fit in.

I think he looks okay. Though Bobby is better. And Dharam is something else!

The person that has shocked me is Priyanka Chopra. Not in a bad way, but she doesn't look like the conventional Indian movie actress and I have heard MANY people call her ugly and weird looking.

When I first saw her I honestly thought she was going nowhere lol, but she turned out to be a great actress and now shes an A-lister.

I was so sure that Lara would have a better career than her.

People who are saying Sonam. Did Soanm really make it big as of now? IMO..I don't think she made it big. She's only famous for her clothes.

Until Katrina became a star, I was under the false impression that unless you have some talent you can't become a star. But boy was I wrong. I think it's her ability to showcase her strengths (pretty face, legs, hotness etc) over her weaknesses (zero acting skills, poor language skills, shady background etc). Even the dance thing is a very well played gimmick by her - she can jiggle her assets well enough to make north Indian men wet their pants, but she was able to make it look as dance for some, even when she lacked grace and fluidity.

Even though she made it big so to speak, she doesn't command respect. She'll be easily forgotten once she packs her bags up.
