The descendants of Pandava??

I was just wondering...if the tale of Mahabharat has been kept around for so long... What happend to keeping tracking of their descendants?lol don't get me wrong...but why is that the sons of these great men are not remembered in history ? Same thing with Ramayan...after ram...and to a degree luv and kush... No one from their line is known

descendant was found Pandava till Buddha's time , king of vatsa Udayan , who was protagonist of a famous ancient literature Swapnabasabdutta by Bhas was direct descendant of Abhimanyu , Udayan was king of vatsa and contemporary of Buddha, kshemaka was last king of that dynasty known to history , he was defeated by avanti king

in Manipur there is a clan named manipuri vaishnava or something they claim to be descendant of Arjun's son Bavrubahana

in historythere was a dynasty called youdheya which was found by yudhisthir's son youdheya
