my point of view about the hosting and the show - Page 3

i agree with one point that it should be the contestants who get attention rather than hosts and judges. even i'm against the way every guests do silly cheesy acts for MD.. MD is defo top in bollywood. but there is a limit for everything..esp repeated things.

Jhalak is an indian show so i really dont think they should have their own entertainment standards...to be honest indians in almost every family want comedy where ever they get it...its indians need i should say in the us there is variety in television not in india to be honest we just started changing our content other than boring saas bahu that keeps going on
We love entertainment to most families who watch reality shows ball room is boring...funny hosts is half the reason my parents and bro watched jdj...i get its a dance show but jdj will not get any trps with just dance:/ i live and was born in the us i do watch American tv and indian i know they have two standards two different audiences...so there's no reason to compare the two both are greak in their own ways ;))

I kinda agree with you...what u said abt manish is so right he always is praising MD n that pallu thing is so irritating..he acts so immature when it comes to her...I wanted it to be kapil rather than Manish..he was better...n I agree about the male female hosting...I have seen the American version..n it solely focuses on the contestants...but here the judges n hosts take more limelight a than the contestants...which I think is unfair..I would have like DD n kapil hosting it together

Sadly in case of DD , the "type" of hosting wasn't really the matter . Was that Ranvir guy some awesome comedian ? No...but he at least had the abilities which a host needs . As per media reports DD wasn't comfortable with hosting at all ! Isnt it interesting, that media didnt point out , the retakes and tele-prompter during the Press Conference , which she was hosting also...why suddenly , from the sources of set, this was pointed out by the media, I am intrigued.

Were the media blind , when she was hosting live , in front of them...well they did mention that she was a bit nervous...but they were pretty sure about her improving...i am still intrigued with media?!!!!

I agree that Manish's pallu holding was irritating .

in india hosting is being cute , funny and little impromptu ..

All I would say is everyone cannot be good at everything .drashti is a good actor no doubt but its not necessary she should be a good host too.she tried but failed its alright u cannot win everytime so its good she left the show.coming to Manish Paul I know he overacts sometimes but he is a good host overall .his hosting keeps audience hooked .more than kapil I enjoyed his hosting.last year due to kapil and his competition he went a bit overboard I think.but in jhalak season 5 with ragini he hosted the show marvelously.and ragini I really miss her even last year I misses her presence.she was just herself on the show,never over did her job and complimented Manish quite well.she is the one actress who defines grace I really like her screen presence and her dressing sense as well.this time I dint like drashti's dresses as well I dint find it good.drashti is beautiful and she could looks very pretty but this jhalak ppl dint provide her with proper wardrobe.I just hope to see Manish and ragini becoz 2 men as host makes the comedy too boring sometimes.I just hope dey bring back Manish and ragini.
