Guzarish is a underrated movie. HR and Aish were too good in that movie. I wish it was a hit.

she.sucks.as an actress. it all looks fake. maybe its her beauty. who knows. i can never be immersed in her performance. but i did like HDDCS...but thats mostly because i loved her and ajays chemistry and her swing scene when shes talking to her mom. THAT was good.

Umrao Jaan should be her most underrated performance.She was magnificent in the emotional moments!Just have watch the songs to see how wonderfully she portrayed the grief stricken Umrao.
But the movie was way too slow(though if you are in the apt mood,you wouldn't mind it at all) and also the writing/direction could have been better.But it still is a beautiful movie.
Sigh!!Its extremely sad how her excellent performance got ignored because people didn't like the movie.

Good that you mentioned,she was SUPERB in sarkar raj.Her performance in the scene when Abhishek's character gets shot and the one in the hospital was MINDBLOWING.I had goosebumps!But because it was a supporting role it got ignored.Yes,it is underrated.

Whoever watched Provoked have only praised Aish's performance,but the movie being is british production wasn't that well promoted.So yes,it is underrated because she deserved MUCH MUCH more.

She haunted Sabya who was the costume designer on Guzaarish, for the perfect shade of red lipstick, "garish yet which suits me".

She used some 30 lipsticks, until she picked a Chanel one for Rosie. 🤣

Yeah, she def. I think if you compare her choice of roles and characters she played compared to her contemporries, hers is WAY more versatile and diverse.

It's not like she wasn't being offered the glossy roles or big banner projects from the beginning, but it takes a lot of risk to move away from the comfort zone and play a grey shade in Khakee, or go non-glam for Raincoat and Chokher Bali. I really wish she was recongized more for Raincoat. She totally deserved a critics' award or the filmfare for that.

Another underrated performance that I love is UJ, unfortunately, the movie was too slow. That being said, he acting for all these films received a ton of critical acclaim but me thinks if she got the BO success too then the perfromances would be more appreciated. Either way, I think she done a ton of great work and if others don't like it then that's their choice.
