i request salman to not do this movie, if karan johar is himself directing it. kjo is a great producer but he cannot transform a serious subject beautifully on celluloid, instead makes a mess out of it (mnik and kank r shining examples).

and omg, what did i just read... bajirao mastani is still in the news 😲 last time i heard about this film was whole 12 years ago in 2002 post devdas release, when i used to read stories about slb casting hrithik one day, salman 2nd day and some other actor the 3rd day but could not make his mind.

i cannot believe that even after a decade plus 2 years (twelve years in total) this movie of slb is still under discussion with the same reasons of casting... isn,t it too much 😕

Karan Johar is not directing the movie. Karan Malhotra is directing the movie. KM also directed agneepath. But having said that KJO is a good director, loved his KKHH and k3g but Karan Malhotra will direct this movie

Ranveer Deepika are confirm for bajirao mastani.

saraa, i am concerned with the subject, i think even u will agree that kjo is not fit for directing serious subjects that r non candyfloss, and given the subject of shuddi, i guess this movie will be very heavy on content and seriousness, not kjo types, but glad karan is directing it, who did a brilliant job as a director handling such serious and heavy subject like agneepath.

i am still amazed at bajirao mastani... both deepika and ranveer must have been teenager kids 12 years back when this movie was still in the news for the same reason.

hopefully this time its cast is finalized...phewww.

Salman is now doing Hrithik's rejects lol , well salman is kjo's last option after all major stars have said no to the project

Ranveer-Deepika will play lead and Priyanka will play Ranveer's wife. Ranveer hismelf confirmed it

what to do yaar...salman doesnt get fresh projects ...poor guy..so he is living on oder's rejected films 😳

oh thats a very nice finalized cast... reason i been shocked is that i never followed any news or article about bajirao post 2002, hence after such a gap reading the same news was quite a shocker for me... but, all,s well that ends well.
