Hey Vicky,
Maala is not someone you can forgive or identify with - but you do want her to be redeemed so that peace can return to her. What she did today is cowardly but often even cowardice needs courage. And Maala did show it. She will always be a jute patch on a silk cloth , maybe a weakling or maybe a tested woman who succumbed to the forbidden fruit. But cowardice only means lack of valour in the heart , its never a measure of honesty of feelings.

Loved these lines, so true. But, thats the beauty of RR. Forces us to think beyond us, our experiences.
fight or flight - Currently Fight is for Paro sa and Flight for Mala.
Another point is since RR is yet to reveal mala's story, is there courage behind the acts of cowardice.

And about Parud romance, they struck a chord today, after a long time. They have taken the feedback and improved the direction, camera angles and editing.

For me , Mohini invokes dual feelings, one of awe - how she manipulated and played them all.
And feeling sorry, what she missed in nurturing this corrosive need

I'm glad to read your post. Don't want to ask for more. But as you said about Parud moments, your posts are to be read, enjoyed and savoured. Love to read your thread. One of my favorites in this forum. I just want to forget your alvida:)

Lovely post!!
I agree with you!! People like Maala take an easy way out by running away from the problems and people like Mohini actually face those problems and stand strongly by whichever way possible, even if it means using hatred, venom and what not. It is their insecurity that is at play at that time but stand they do!!

But I will post something today just for your generous words I am humbled and ofcourse in honour of vicky coming back just for a short visit huraaah.

I loved the romantic scene today it was the hallmark of rudraness. I always thought of him as the predatory type hero NOT IN A BAD/STALKING WAY and NOT BECAUSE OF HIS 8 SAAL HAR RAATH. It is his personality he is a go getter, he might be all awkward to say I love you but I don't see him being shy towards showing his sexuality. That is his strength he is more effective thru action and less good with words. He knows what he wants and he has wanted Paro for a long time. If we remember from the initial days of RR how comfortable was Rudra in touching Paro, they always shared a very close physical proximity. He has never been awkward around her not from his end anyway and he has always had this aura about him of she is mine and I can have her when I want, obviously with any other man it would be pervert like but with Rudra and Paro their physical attraction is part of their charm. Rudra's possessive claim over Paro with a sense of privileged smugness shows us what it feels like to be loved by such a man who felt like he owned you at the same time without suffocating you because you want to be loved madly that way. I want to see more of this personality of him in their romance, where he is in charge of his own feelings and knows what he wants and doesn't shy away from it, it is the essence of this passionate love story.

My views on Paro's actions around Maasa are not favourable I am afraid. Today in end of the episode the tone of her voice felt like she was talking of some stranger, did Paro forget that Maasa is Rudra's mother, he hasn't forgotten sweet paro neither have we. I liked what someone had written earlier 'that who tries to belong to everyone belongs to no one'. But you know if we look at the realistic angle of this is that is the fate of most women we do have to juggle a lot of relationships at the same time and our love is demanded upon equally by all parties alas is the fate of women. From a serial POV RR is very fast paced and so is not surprising they have taken this route, because a more tolerable way for me atleast would have been to give Rudra some time and for Paro to be a bit more patient than try this quid pro quo method and preach how love is the magic fixer upper in life.

Mohini is a smart big cookie isn't she. You know we really have to wait for Mala's full personality to unravel but it is so tempting to take punches at her. More than anything she has ever done it is her utter cluelessness that is baffling, poor thing the loss of the handsome hunk of a husband has addled her brains. But then she didn't come off any smarter before either so if she was always like this I can see how Mohini won it must have been like stealing candy from a baby. As much as it is abhorred to look up to someone like Mohini it is just as foolish to look up at someone like Mala, they are both two extremes, extremes create conflicts in our society not stability.

Vicky will be gone soon so lets bid her goodbye until next time tears.
