Shiv allows himself to be dominated by powerful women. From dadisa to DB from Ira sanchi to anandi. And now rasika.

He is allowing DB to get away with murder. He is losing voice on the homefront. With the help of anandi who specialises in doling out apologies.

A mere PA could make his life miserable and taunting him in the court and he is not able to look into her eyes.

Is he an escapist? Not able to take proper decisions at the right time?

They call it his "chivalry".😉
I do not know about women but the facts that he remained clueless as his son got kidnapped by beggar mafia, his sister was molested at college, his sister was later raped, goons broke in a gathering held at his own house and pelted stones (itwari bazaar), railway ghotala happened but he got it covered up to save Jaggu, he now himself got embroiled in fake molestation scandal - it does not reflect well on him as a collector.

Why only him? I cannot believe this is a house with 3 ex armymen and one of them a bravery medal awardee! No discipline, no manners, no safety in their house and family?

You can excuse Singhs and BH and dismiss them as a junglee gawar family from small village that has Gundaraj.

But no excuse for a family and house as prestigious and high profile as Shekhars.

Shiv has failed to stand up for himself and his son against DB's ultra insulting, baseless attacks.

Even now I wanted to see a man fight for his honour but we have him subdued as if he is guilty even though he knows he is innocent.

I think we are expecting too much from him since his super heroic entry and initial few months.

Shiv gets phasaoed easily. Even got trapped in Kashmir by bunch of pendus!

I came to know about the gentleness of this guy the day he got trapped in Anandi' love.
Actually he is not escapist, but to prove Anandi, cv need someone s image to sacrifice...and this time poor Shiv is the right man.

Ignoring problems thinking that they will go away.

Shiv is too gentle and laidback for his own good.

In yesterday's face off with Rasika, Shiv was still being not harsh with her. The extra goodness quotient which was clearly visible, was the reason behind it. When she crossed limits, he replied her.
In the precap, I hope those scenes are copy pasted. Because he needs to be firm on his stand during his own testimony.
He is very much disgusted and irritated with DB. Just that all Shekhars including him are considering her as their family member, and treating her like how they would treat any other family member. On few occasions, when she directly attacked Anandi or Amol, he made it clear to her.
IMO, being good doesn't mean being escapist.

What exactly do you mean by dominated by women?????
Dadisa was the bridge between him and Anandi. He genuinely like the old lady and appreciated her for her goodness and not everybody is capable taking on the responsibility of a daughter in law and strive to give anew life for her.

DB - Is she really worth the trouble?????Is he answerable to her?????He made it clear to her that he won't listen to her talking ill about Anandi and Amol. Rest of the things that DB comes up with who cares????
Is he answerable to DB at all with regard to the current mess in his life????

Sanchi - His sister. Was he dominated by her? Had he been the type to be dominated by her wouldn't he have married his sister's choice?????Wouldn't he care for his sister's opinion about his wife????

Ira - His mother. Why did she get insecure if she knew that he could dominate his son????
Ira's main problem - his son does exactly what he wants and he doesn't even care to keep them informed.
Didn't he agree to marry Anandi without even informing his family???
Would he have stopped if his family did not agree???

Rasika - What exactly is he supposed to do with a woman like her??? Thrash her??? Call her names????

Anandi - Is he dominated by Anandi or is it his love for Anandi ? He was quite cold and rude to Anandi when she disagreed with him So where is the question of being dominated by her and her deeds?
People keep saying that he agreed for adoption despite wanting a kid just because he wanted to make Anandi happy. But he clearly said he wanted to be Father to Anandi's children and it doesn't matter whether they are biological kids or adopted kids.

Shivraj Shekhar does exactly what he wants in life and he is not dominated by anyone.

---------------------
But there is one thing.
He is definitely clueless when it comes to understanding what goes on in a woman's mind.
Be the woman may be his mother, sister wife, good friend Ashima or Rasika.
His cluelessness with regard to functioning of a woman's mind has brought him this trouble as well as trouble with Sanchi and ended up hurting Ashima unintentionally.

no..i don think so!
Shiv never let DB to dominate himself...he always stood for the right..and voiced what he believed!!
i am not sure to which saanchi's case u r referring to...but as i can remember he always stood up for what he believed is right...when he believed that saanchi is right he stood by saanchi and when he believed that anandi is right he stood by anandi...after knowing that shiv is CM's son saanchi started badmouthing shiv also...but for this his mindset towards saanchi or towards any other family members didn't change...then how come u say that saanchi was able to dominate him!? 😕
in rasika's case i think he wants to do everything according to the law...yes rasika is taunting & accusing him infront of his family...but shiv replied her firmly to shut her mouth..yes he has done it without shouting...but that doesn't mean that he has failed in expressing how he feels...and shiv's character is not that kind of a person who will intentionally taunt or shout at anyone like rasika or DB does! and i like it how he depicted that being a gentleman also u can voice for what is right!!...and not to forget that he is going through a tough time in his life...so of course he can not shout like what he did to heth singh in past!...
regarding anandi...i don think anandi has ever tried to dominate shiv...if u can remember any such incident then pls let me know also..and even if in future any such thing will occur then also i wouldn't mind! 😛 😆

In my thinking, rasika is trying to bait him so that she can create another scene. The media is obviously present at such a high profile hearing and she wanted to create a tamasha. Or else she wants to bias the court with additional evidence of yet another misbehaviour of shiv.
Shiv is correct in avoiding her.

I am reminded of the batman tv show in the 1980s.

The villain JOKER would always run away when he was losing in the fight against batman and say "he who fights and runs away lives to fight another day" 😆😆😆

that was a strategy not escapism.

Shiv is not rasikas equal. He has to be aloof.
Just because a dog in the street barks at us we don't have to stand there and bark back at the dog.

We move on.

Is it escapism because we don't give a fit and appropriate response back to the dog? 😆😆
