Okay now my last question to you, Imagine you are about to die, aur tum apne zindagi ke aakhri kuch pal jee rahe ho, kya karoge Arnav, kiske saath betaana chahoge who akkhri lamhe?... He closed his eyes and traveled back to the time when he had faced the road-accident.

He was standing numb on the road watching with demurring blurred eyes as a fast approaching vehicle speedily made its way directly to him. The brutality of the impulse got him rolling off the road and a second later, there he was, lying on the muddy street with his hands and legs bleeding, his head throbbing and numbness assaulting his senses.

As the entire world seemed to be fading away, he realized with dazed ambiences, life was slowly slipping out from him, taking him towards an unknown scary darkness and in such perilous moment, his soul longed for his personal source of enlightenment. His eyes were dripping close and time was tickling on the trot, any moment's delay and he would be long gone but that exact moment, something happened.

His haziness cleared and appeared her face, as beautiful and radiant as ever. She was smiling at him, calling out to him, requesting him to hold on, assuring him that none was lost. She was his personal angel who had come to save him and at that moment he knew, indeed nothing was lost, he would get fine for her, only for her.

"khushiii..." his heart made a desperate call. He knew, this wasn't real. That he was lying on the road and people had assembled near him, some calling out for help, someone particular crying and urging him to wake up, and the rest, simply staring. But does any of it matter? NO! it doesn't.

The figure who was lovingly caressing his hairs was the only one who meant the world to him, hers was the only face he wished to see before he dies and with her by his side he felt so calm and peaceful. He wanted to stare at her again but before he could, he was lost in a deep slumber.

Arnav shuddered recalling the memory as sammera's words stirred his brain-cells. The answer was Khushi because when he was so near death, she was the only one he remembered. If he had to die, he wished to breathe his last in her arms.

But as much as he was sure of the answer, his reasoning confused him. Why Khushi? why only her? Why not anyone else? He loved his mumma, papa, shyam bhai, Anjali bhabhi too. They were also very important then why just her, Always??

Putting a cessation to his inner turmoil, he continued to read the last page of the letter,

As I have said earliar, I could never conquer your heart because that place was never unoccupied, it already belonged to someone whom you love. There's already someone' name imprinted in there and the only thing left to be done is for you to find out.

Yes, Arnav Singh Raizada, Your heart belongs to the girl whose beauty enchant your senses.

Whose face mesmerize your being,

Whose smile is the only cure of your pain,

Whose tears hold the power to bring you down on your knees,

Arnav read it all in one go and all the while, his heart was racing uncontrollably, What was sameera trying to say? He recalled her every single question, she surely had forced him to ponder over things that he had always taken very causally. He re-analyzed all her questions and every answer led him to Khushi. He always knew, he couldn't live without her. He wanted her, needed her but today he was forced to think WHY?

Everything was so tangled up, so fuzzy. He always liked clarity of expressions and transparency of thoughts but today he, himself was feeling very disoriented and confused.

Burying his face in his palms, he closed his eyes and tried to relax. It took him a moment to calm down and gain a control over his razzing emotions. But when he did, from behind the curtain of his lashes, he saw a dream. A beautiful, heart-capturing, mesmerizing dream!

There was light shining through the crevices of his soul and between those cracks was a portico to an endless green field. The amber rays distending from the sun was gleaming against the twirling crops settling up a royal ambience. The rusty winds were tickling the blooming flowers even as bees buzz around. As he approached closer, a figure clad in white stood amidst, staring at the vast skyline, her musical laugher echoing in the chockfull field, warming up his heart.

He waited for the figure to acknowledge his presence but she never did. He watched bewitched, as beautiful freshening rain poured down softly on the feilds and the girl as if attuned to those heavely showers, slowly twirled around him, dancing merrily she revealed herself to him.

Her dazzling smile still intact, she looked at him with her twinkling hazel-nut eyes and he felt the world stopped moving right then and there. The dream ended but the reality sunk in making widen his eyes in realization,

Startled with the reality, he rose from his chair and marched around the room, recollecting all those numerous encounters with Khushi but strangely, now everything fitted perfectly. He had that transparency of thoughts and clarity of expressions when he realized that indeed whatever they did for one another was out of love and not a mere obligation.

They had exceeded the bond of friendship long ago and what they had now, was love. True love, a feeling so special and rare!!

Mr Arnav singh Raizada, Sameera is right. Your harward qualified brain is of no use. How could you be so dumb? You loved her all along but thought she is just your bestie. No dammit, she means everything to you, you love her. Are you getting me??, YOU LOVE HER!!!

Oh God, I am so stupid, such a bloody fool! Khushi, you should probably KILL me for being such an insensitive jerk. How could I neglect my emotions? All this time, the truth was right infront of me but I never cared to admit. I am a certified idiot and I deserve every kind of reprimandation for it.

Damn it, even when vivek proposed her, I was always left wondering what is there to feel so sad about it. Why did I never allowed him to get physically close to her? Why did I never let them spend some private moments? , I was always high on my guard those days, but It wasn't for the sake of her safety only. It was my jealousy streak operating overtime.

Kyu mai use kisi se baatna nahi chaahta tha, Shweta se bhi nahi? Kyu maine Sameera ko wo pyaar nahi de paya jiski use chaah thi? Gosh, maine yeh sab pehle kyu nahi socha? Damn, damn and double damn! I am a freakingly unscrupulous, senselessly stupid, extremely foolish, recklessly idiotic jackass .I need to speak to her, right now, right this instant.

He face has a myriad of emotions, he dint knew what to do. He felt like laughing and crying at the same time. He was scolding himself one second and laughing like an idiot the next moment. Man! I will go crazy. ASR, stop acting like a teenage lover for heaven's sake, get a grip dammit.

But even after chastising himself a lot many of number of times, he wasn't able to get that oh so needed grip over his emotions. Thinking about her in a different light felt so amazing, he never wished to stop. It felt right, so perfect!!

Not delaying a second more, he dashed out of the office premises, got in his car and drove away, heading straightaway to Lukhnow.

Aman, watching him leave in such a hurry smirked to himself and dialled a number, "hello, ASR has left, mission successful!!"

Here Arnav was driving, breaking every speed limit when his phone beeped indicating a text message. He decided to check upon it later but it beeped again, indicating a missed call. If he was over-annoyed with the intrusion, the gleefulness residing in his heart dint let it go over-board. He checked the missed call and SMS, both were from Shweta.

With curiousity bubbling inside, he opened her text, reading,

Now plzzz don't give me that looks, mai darti nahi hu tumse, samjhe? 😆😉and rahi baat mere phone call ki, so don't worry, puri raam-kahaani nahi sunaai use, I just asked her to meet everyone of us in the Blue diamond hotel but asal me sirf tum jaa rahe how waha, us se milne or should I say, CONFESS karne? 😳

So Hurry ASR, your khushi must have reached by now and she won't be waiting forever. 😆😆
