Why are people in this forum obsessed with who the male lead is?

Durga is a strong woman. She doesn't need a male lead to carry the show. A woman lead is strong enough.

Regardless of whether it's Shaurya or Dev, it doesn't matter. Durga is the true lead of this show!

Just some perverted teeny boppers who pine for Shaurya and his so called chemistry with Durga.
Otherwise no one cares.

This show is not a love story or shaadi-sasural saga. Most viewers realise it is about justice and revenge except the ones who expect docile female in arms of some Prince Charming in every story.

Dev is okay but no one needs romance or love triangle. Most hope Dev to be a partner at most with Durga in revenge. Nothing more.

Durga is top notch herself. She can handle anything. And it is her battle only. Others may help but she is the commander, the in charge.

Dev needs more build up, background.

Most posts are by obsessed ones and those to counter them. Sadly due to some the focus of forum is deviated from episodes themselves and subjects discussed in the show.

For me it is only Durga. No DurSha or DevGa.

There were three men in Khoon Bhari maang, Kabir Bedi, Rakesh Roshan, Shatrughan Sinha but real hero was Rekha. Same for Madhuri in Anjaam despite SRK and Deepak Tijori. There can be any number of men in this show but it is Durga all the way.

I think the reason men in India treat women so badly is because of stupid mentality of "good chemistry."

Veera is a prime example. Baldev is disgusting and was so nasty to Veera in the beginning. He was a horrible man and treated her so badly. Then they made Veera and Baldev fall in love. Such serials teach men in India that THIS is how you win a woman. Treat her badly then she'll fall in your arms. Veera is not the only one, there are many other serials that do this.

I liked Bade Acche Laggte Hai because Ram despite being mean, Priya gave as good as she could and that wasn't because Ram was nasty. He was still respectful and a nice human, but him and Priya just clashed.

But Veera and Kesar and other ones I can think of are terrible for promoting treat them mean keep them keen.

Durga does not need any one in her quest for justice. Having a partner who will stand by you and support you is a nutural desire for everyone.Durga /Nitya has sufferred a lot and is trying to get justice for herself and her sister, so if she has sopport of a partner what's wrong in it.. .. Is it required , no she can find the battle alone, But having someone does not make her week and she deserves happiness.
As long as CVs concentrate on main revenger track , other side tracks and romance can only enhance the overall story

Her happiness will come from justice and sister's recovery. She does not desire any partner as of now. She is on a mission. Dev can help out. Romance is not needed to dilute the show. Dev and her can live happily once her mission is complete.

I hope Rajnath has killed Dev's father and Dev learns this and bonds over issue of justice with Durga more. Both fight for their families.

This is a finite show. It will not last for years that several tracks are needed to drag it. PH said one year. Crisp storyline about revenge and justice. Hopefully will remain so.

@Bold- I just mentioned this to someone the other day, that I think Rajnath and Sakshi had something to do with Dev's father's death. It makes sense, its obvious Dev's father was older so he would have had control of everything and that would not have set well with Rajnath and Sakshi.

As for the romantic angle of the show, I think it's perfect the way it is now. Durga is strong, and this is her battle, others can help but in the end she should be the one to punish Goenkas.

I am glad you asked this question. Who is the lead ? Who will Durga end up with ?

Why there is no romance in this show? Who is the real hero ? it goes on and on.

This show is about revenge and there are some who cannot seem to grasp that.

Durga is and has shown till now that she can handle and deal with these manipulative family all by herself.

She has waited for two years to plan and implement her revenge and I am sure she has had help and that is fine as long as all involved are on the same track to get justice and see that the culprits pay for the crimes they have committed.

The real hero of this show is the story and that it is different from all other shows on air
and I hope the CV's stick to their original script and do not change anything.

It is great just the way it is.

As much as I agree with you on the point that Durga does not need a hero( she is a strong woman capable of fighting for justice in her own way), I disagree with you completely on the example of Baldev you have brought in to exemplify your point. As I have watched Veera both pre-leap and post-leap, I have not found Baldev do anything disgusting or anything horrible as you term. There were certain times when he has pulled her arms in anger but Veera has always retaliated by stamping his foot which is equally painful (may be more). Baldev has always been shown as a chauvinist to show how pind brought up men have this kind of mentality. Veera hasnt fallen in love with Baldev the last time I saw that show. I have NOT seen him woo a girl or look at any woman in a disgusting manner. He has always helped Veera when she needed help. Baldev is not clean I agree. But if TV shows are to show ideal men who do not exist, it spreads falsehood and nothing else.

Sorry I did not mean offend you.

Ek Hasina Thi is a superb show👏

Because some of the people here are hell bent to watch ROMANCE. They give a damn to concept, damn to injustice and damn to reality. All they want is to Fantasize in lovey dovey world. For them it is a waste of thirty minutes to watch a girl's stand against injustice. They think its bakwaas to watch a show to get a Gyan. Thats it
