@ TM:
Love start there where we find respect.. Well said!!!!
Hey btw don't leave the forum. We must listen to people even if they speak nonsense. I mean I understand how it feels. Some days back I wanted to quit writing here when people started justifying Shaurya and his friends with their own set of may be's. Later I realised, well they are all but views and are to be respected even if we don't agree to them.
Problem is with the Indian audience and Indian makers. Women no matter which background they come from have one eternal job, marry and have children. The female lead will know all the tips of cooking even if she is barely 18. The male lead will be an overgrown child and the girl with all her desi tareeka's will make him a real gentleman. No matter what her dreams were and what her educational qualifications is, you will find her trying to please her in-laws with a tray in her hand.
The women in telly world have severe limitations. Even the vamp cannot do a anything human in her lifetime. She will woo the male lead even if she is married to his brother, will try to murder the female lead, will cheat, will fake pregnancy, will change facts and even steal. Thus, the makers will try all the tried and tested formula to prove that woman is characterless.well this way they also prove the female lead has a strong character.
Isn't the story line significantly better than those we have seen in the past? We have the female protagonist who is not doing all perfect things a girl should do. She is strong and at times manipulative. Same goes with the character of Sakshi Goenka. She loves her family and realises her son has committed a crime but when she has to choose between being right and being a mother, she chooses the latter and rest we all know.
People need to change their outlook. Common there was a time when Hindi masala movies meant only love stories that too college romance. We have initiated change there. Why not on Indian television?
I am loving EHT the way it is. Shaurya should be punished. For heaven's sake makers don't show him making up for the crime by marrying the victim or her sister.
