Hey guys. After watching Smita's amazing performance of "mere dil gaye ja," I was wondering which movie or album that song is from? Also, I had no clue that Alisha was the one who sang the song. Does anyone know about the song?

PS - I still remember Neha from Indian Idol 2 had sang this number last year.

i think it is not from any flim

If my memory serves right it is from film DANCE DANCE and in the movie it is sung by late Smita Patil. Mithun plays the role of her brother.

no this was a remix version ...the original is from some film from the 80's the music was by bappi lahiri....😃

it,s from the film disco dancer which stared mithun chakravarty.it was a hit movie because of his dance.bappi lahari is the music director
